Well, taking things slow keeps the momentum of the game going, people easily get bored once they acquired all their dreamies. I'm trying to play now with no tt as well, though I've basically got all my things completed...it looks very odd when I sit in my town plaza and the tree showing my villagers had moved in dates from the future lol.
