I didn't even get to do that, because of the whole Ice Path thing. I'm sure I would've gotten stuck there, too.
Sadly, I sold my copy of Silver because I was angry I couldn't beat it (this was like 8 years ago, and the Ice Path was the bane of my existence).
Silver was my first. I think Totodile was mine, but I can't remember. I remember using all 3, but I can't remember which was first.
Mine is probably Squirtle or Piplup. I can't choose between them.
I usually pick grass as my second playthrough. If I do a third, I might do fire. In Platinum, I do remember that I chose Chimchar as my starter. I chose Piplup in Pearl, though.
I think Chespin is the only time my first playthrough wasn't with the water starter.
I usually pick water, but from the moment the starters were revealed, I fell in love with Chespin. I usually don't like the fire types. Fennekin is my least favorite of the three.
Which starter are you choosing? I love Chespin, and won't use any other one. I might not use him, depending on the final evolutions.
I think I read that people can actually "hang out" in the new games. I'll have to look it up, but I'm pretty sure we could.
Do you battle competitively? I would love to battle you when the game comes out and I have some sort of a team. Or when a simulator is made for gen 6.
