    Ah ok, I soft reset and it worked. I wish they hadn't changed the online play format! They really screwed up on that.

    It has a full sp atk IV and was holding a shiny stone so I just put it on the Shinx you have. Going online now!

    Weird, it said you're a vip for me when I talk to your character in the castle. So it worked on my end at a least.
