Yes, that is correct (i also suggest putting marks (manually) so that you can use that as reference withhout having to check the ivs again in case you have forgotten). Also i recommend teaching a Pokemon False Swipe so that it will be easier to cactch dittos

A safari pokemon can have at least 2 perfect ivs in any stats. I recommend getting a boxfull of dittos, and releasing the ones with redundant perfect ivs. If the purple guy says "attack and defense cant be beat" that means its perfect.

umm no its actually MY way of organizing IVs. i manually shaded them ;w;
the REAL way of checking IVs is by talking to the purple dude in the Kiloude City Pokemon Center. If he says, for example, "Attack and Speed" cant be beat, that means it has 31 IVs (maximum you can get) in that stat.
yes, or, you can breed lets say a ditto that has perfect ivs in hp And Attack, and the baby sneasel inherits that. then you can breed that Baby Sneasel to another ditto that has, say, perfect IVs in Defense and Speed.
make sure to make use of everstones and destiny knots!

do u know how to check the ivs of a pokemon? not any ditto can do if the ivs arent sneasel's mainpoints: which are attack and speed.
sneasel is a great choice. make sure it has a jolly nature, at least 5 perfect ivs, and optimal moveset and then you can ev train it :blush:
also, it's more time efficient to breed the same species rather than ditto X a pokemon.
