I sell all the gems that I get since they're usually worth a lot but I keep other materials like lumber and iron. So far I have a few 5 star Flax that my brother gave me. I'm jelly that you got 3 golds though xD My equipment is either copper or normal lol

Also have you visited the Guild since Fall started? Today was the first day of Fall in my game and I visited the Guild and unlocked the Safari (there was a cutscene as soon as I walked in) The Safari is really useful like there's materials laying around everywhere and the mining gives out a lot of rare gems!!

I learned from my brother that breeding cows uses up a lot of time, sadly ;n; The mother cow doesn't produce anything for like 3 weeks and once the baby is born it can't produce milk for a while either

Yeah I ended up getting the seed maker as well, it's really useful!! I think gems will be easier for us to find after we unlock the Safari area which is in the Fall during Year 1 from what I've read. It's got a mining area to get rare gems and stuff

and omg you must have a lot of crops if you're renting 4 fields xD I haven't rented any fields yet but I probably will once I get to Fall

It will let you go to the main farm at your house and I think maybe Eda's field but that's it. You can trade stuff before entering someone's farm and they can increase the quality of crops on your main farm, so that's good at least~ My brother married Licorice but for some reason when I visited his house she wasn't there at all??? idk it might be because I haven't even unlocked her in my own save file yet

I don't have any Topaz at the moment sadly, I sold a lot of stuff because I'm still poor (like 44,000G)
I'm saving up for the 100,000G rucksack upgrade at the General Store but ahhhhh it's so expensive
Luckily I do have tons of tomatoes about to be harvested though so I'm gonna finally have some more money xD
