There definitely were a lot of awesome titles mentioned. I’m really happy to hear about rune factory I’ve played 4 on 3DS and everyone figured the series was over after that game. Nice to hear that 5 will actually be a thing at some point.

I like the how the new fire emblem seems to be taking a new direction. No more conflict and war right off the bat. Being a teacher training your students sounds really neat.

Should be a good year to be a Nintendo fan that’s for sure!

Ok! I’ll definitely add it to my mental “play some day” list.

One game I would probably suggest to you is My Time at Portia. It’s not out yet but it looks really fun and seems to be a bit of a mix of Animal Crossing (but with people) and farming simulation/crafting. Thankfully it’s considered an indie game so it won’t be full price like AC.

I’m planning on trying it out when it releases. I’ll be sure to let you what I think when I do. Might be a nice title to have when you need a break from AC in the future.

How is Yo-Kai? I’ve never played it. It looks really fun but I’ve told myself no as I have too many series I want to play as it is.

Well it would depend on the week honestly. Most of the time I see it being 100% but the odd week I might sneak in some Splatoon or Mario Kart. It good to change it up a bit even if it’s only every once and awhile.

I have to agree with fall being perfect. I have a couple smaller games as well as Fire Emblem that are said to be coming out around spring. I prefer to not have too many games on the go at once if I can help it. That and I know once AC releases it’ll easily take up 90%+ of my gaming time. xD

We should totally play AC together when it comes out and we both get it. I don’t believe we’ve gotten to play New Leaf together as I pretty much exhausted everything I could possibly do in it before I met you on here. Pokémon has been great too though.

Thanks! I really hope you are able to get a Switch in time. Even with Animal Crossing aside it’s a great little system and AC can only make it even better. I’m thinking the release would be summer at the earliest but I feel like fall is more likely. I’m just making a complete guess here but I feel like you should hopefully have a decent amount of time for everyone to help you out by pitching in.

Yeah I’m thinking/hoping we get an approximate release date and maybe a small amount of gameplay tease for Animal Crossing but only time will tell. I like to at least know approximate release dates so I can spread out new games I get and plan my spending.

As for Fire Emblem it’s really nice to finally hear some news. They first teased a new game for Switch back in 2017 saying it would release in late 2018. Then about a year ago they dropped a name and some brief gameplay along with a new pushed back date being Spring 2019. Haven’t heard anything since but today’s direct will change that.

I’m doing ok as well and have also been busy with real life.

Are you excited for the Nintendo Direct today? I know most people are hoping for Animal Crossing news (as am I of course) but I’m also a Fire Emblem fan so I’m definitely excited. That and you never know what Nintendo is gonna throw at us.

My day's okay, honestly just most of the usual stuff. Oh, and my boyfriend sent a late Christmas gift: the galaxy-themed New 3DS! Along with a few games, including another ACNL copy! So I may start a new town tonight or tomorrow which is awesome. <3
