Hi guys I will be away for whole day from 8 AM to 9 PM because me and my significant other have plans in preparation for thesis defense we have 5 months left to prepare ahead and we decided to develop the project system and fix my dad's laptop as backup in case my groupmate's laptop is dead. If I still have diarrhea I think it would be a good time to check up if that is I have time, hopefully I'm still alive and contribute to the town with all I got.

out of curiosity what game bc i don't think i've ever had a successful mafia game so i'd like to feel good about myself ty (if u're talking about 3rd party it doesn't count imo, i still didn't know who mafia/town were and i was working on town's side)
hi i'm back with a clear head
i think rune probably could be town from her last message then, i don't think mafia would cite panic attacks and she does seem genuinely flustered by everything. still interesting though, if punchy flips mafia then i will relook her but since we'll apparently never know i'll just trust my gut for right now
i'm gonna make reads later, since i'm being town read i guess there's a good chance i'll die later, not that my thoughts really mean much lol

So let me get this straight: the reason that I'm being scumread is because you clowns are mad at me for going inactive, switching off the Jacob lynch at the last second as well as the Trundle thing. You realize that I'm in school, right? I had band rehearsal from 5 to 8 yesterday and was too tired to come in and defend myself. I didn't provide much content the other day because it was the beginning of Day 2?
and god is Evan's "case" on me terrible. I feel like I just came home from a vacation and I'm seeing a car wrecked my house.
First of all, I went inactive because it was night and I was sleeping. That was the last thing that I posted becuase I was beginning to think that Punchy isn't mafia. Toadsworthy had a point and things do not look as linear as it was, eg: punchy being scum and finding out everything afterwards.
BecauseI'mInSchool.jpg, just because I haven't posted for 1 day should not make me suspicious, this is reaching.
1. I found both Punchy and Jacob to be a conflicting choice during the day 1 lynch, that is why I was having a hard time choosing.
2. I said that I was wondering if Jacob and Punchy were town. They were both suspicious and I couldn't pick between the two of them and they had redeemable qualities. I was comparing meta from the LoZ game and it was different from this game, after Dolby corrected me on that I started to reevaluate.
3. In your own words, you think that Punchy is town. If I were scum and really wanted to, I would have just voted Punchy to begin with and then just coast for the remainder of the D1 lynch and I would have gotten away with it since 7 people wanted Punchy lynched at the time. Amazonevan followed me afterwards and so did Punchy himself.
You're not going to believe me when I say this but usually when someone is conflicted on a scum lynch at the last second it implies town, even though you and heyden did the exact same time and I'm being called scum for it
regardless Jacob's last posts were making me think that he was town because he was deceptive; he got me and now I'm being slandered for it. It's not like Jacob would have lived even if my vote was switched to Punchy, anyhow. In response to trundle my point was that you have gone agro for real and been mafia, you have reaction tested as mafia and town, and so your meta is all over the place. I mean moreso that you can do both as either alignment. But trundle was such an easy target to start it with I could see it leaning towards fake

From those posts I highlighted it almost looks like you were testing the field to decide whether to bus or defend your scummate, but then once enough people were on jacob you committed to him and going back on that vote would’ve been bad on you. The fact that scum ness would know that jacob is scum and punchy is town in that situation makes your commitment to Jacob seem more like a bus too.

It was day fricking 1. Nobody knows anything on day 1, and I found Trundle scummy. So, what does one do when they find someone scummy? They push them for a reaction and see what happens. Meta schmeta it's been a year.
Secondly, yeah. I could have bussed Jacob. But why would I do that when I could have been the one to kill punchy. What you fail to realize in your tunnel vision on me is that I wouldn't have been able to have saved Jacob if I were scum by switching at the last second, ultimately just making myself look terrible in the process? I could have just parked my vote on Jacob and left the thread, but he freaked me out and I almost switched.

Summary for Kallie (I'm really trying not to put my opinions in it here)
DAY 1
Vanessa (me) was crowned king. I agreed to do a majority vote to decide who I should execute.
Trundle is scumread by many people for acting much different then he has in past games. He gets into a particularly memorable fight with Ness and has a small breakdown, after which more people begin to townread him. Trundle thinks Jacob should be lynched, while Jacob goes after Trundle (and also Mog and unravel.)
Meanwhile, Heyden and Chele are very suspicious of Punchy. They can probably explain their susses the best, but the main reasons were that his tone and the things he was saying were similar to his other scum games, and he was also townlocking and scumlocking people with little evidence. Notably, Punchy townlocked Mog and scumlocked Bianca.
At the end of day 1, Jacob and Punchy were the main lynch wagons. Many people flip-flopped back and forth (see voting thread), while Toads and myself wanted a Bianca lynch. Toads was very strongly against lynching Punchy and has been townreading him the whole game. In the very end, he hopped on the Jacob wagon to save Punchy. Since Jacob had maj at the time I had agreed on, I executed him and he flipped as mafia goon.
While Punchy had voted for Jacob to be lynched, Jacob had not voted for Punchy (which could have saved him). This lead many people to believe that they are teamed and Punchy has the more important role. The majority of the game asked that the vig shoot Punchy that night, but he was not shot. Instead, Dolby and Trundle were killed by the mafia.

Runeraider (who you replaced) was crowned king. Every player except Toads said that she should execute Punchy. Everyone felt that the game could not be furthered until we knew Punchy's alignment, since it would reveal many other people's alignments. While we were waiting for Rune to make a decision, a few of us began to explore the possibility of Ness being scum as a possibly lynch for the next day. Rune eventually executed Evan with no warning or consensus from the town, because she believed Punchy was town and didn't want to execute him. This shocked many people in the thread, and due to the pressure and to some health issues Rune had to leave the game which is why you are here.
Now it is night 2, we are STILL talking about Punchy but also trying to figure out who could be teamed with him, or who could be the team if he is actually town.
