He's not running. I only included candidates who announced their campaigns.I definitely think Beto O'Rourke would be a good addition to this poll (and who I would vote for if I was old enough)
I'm quite happy that Bernie is running. He was really the only candidate I was interested during the 2016 elections.
I'm still not convinced socialism is a good thing.
Lmao Scandinavia, New Zealand, and Denmark are doing great. But conservatives will always be like "b-but Venezuela", without considering the fallacies of failing to distinguish say Cuba or Venuzuela with a Democratic Socialist model. Even most Latin American countries have universal healthcare systems. And when you see people working 40-50 hrs a week and barely making ends meet in the US, theres clearly an issue. When college is downright unaffordable without taking out loans that will burden you for 10-20 years and stop graduayes from actually starting businesses, buying houses, investing, and moving up the social ladder theres a problem. When oil, pharmaceutical, and telecommunications companies offer fat campaign donations to politicians who do their bidding and buy our elections theres a problem. Net neutrality is no longer here, global warming is still a joke to the US, and we have a massive opioid epidemic thanks to capitalism from said industries. The industries profit immensely off buying politicians and making Americans rely on them so heavily.I'm still not convinced socialism is a good thing.

Oh youre one of those. Do parties really matter that much to you? He's running for the Democratic primary, he caucuses with the democrats. Therefore hes on the list.Sanders isn't a Democrat, so he shouldn't be on the list. If he wants to run, let him do it as an Independent.
Warren has literally been fighting corruption for years...she introduced consumer protection laws and has fought against Wall Street and big donors and lobbyists who buy politicians. For me personally, as someone who has taken a neutral approach on party lines and political ideologies (I would call myself a Libertarian), I honestly think the ideologies these candidates follow have flaws that I think can have long term damage to the U.S. if they are implemented (like Socialism and uncontrolled illegal immigration/lack of border security) and I also think these candidates are corrupt to some degree like Elizabeth Warren, for example, who has fraudulently claimed Native American heritage for professional gain when she didn't have such heritage (I think for that reason alone, I think she should be disqualified if the Democrats hope to win the White House in 2020 because who knows what else she has done that we don't know about yet). I'm not saying Trump is perfect either (even though I voted for him because I chose what I believed to be the best of the 2 evils at the time [Hillary had way too much questionable things in her history {along with her husband who would have been back in the White House again if she had won} including what I believe is treason like Uranium One and inaction during the Benghazi attacks]), I think all ideological sides of the government are wrong to some degree and what the United States really needs is more moderate leaders and the return of common sense. We need to be taking care of our people first if we hope to be a nation generations from now. Heck, I would vote Democrat if I felt the candidate was moderate and within reason. I definitely would recommend everyone who is voting Democrat to be very careful who you are voting for because there are a lot of people attempting to run that are not qualified for the office of POTUS in my opinion.

I cant lie though. The whole "im 1/267th cherokee!" is a turnoff. It seems like shes been misinformed of her family history if anything, but yeah shes white. Not the worst candidate but far from the best.

Even though she definitely champions such causes, sometimes people fight the very thing they partake in to cover their tracks so no one suspects them which is why us voters must be vigilant of being informed (which is quite clever when you think about, but it definitely is immoral indisputably). If being uninformed is the reason, that would be more than her own fault (her own family would be guilty as well) which could plead her innocence and makes the situation quite tragic politically, but I wouldn't be surprised of the contrary either which could say a lot about someone years later. Whether innocent or guilty, I do think this should still disqualify her because she did something immoral intentionally or unintentionally at the time of said actions. Due to this state of affairs, she has brought her trustworthiness to question with the public which is something you do not need when you are the POTUS.
Even though Warren is not my primary focus of the following statement/viewpoint of mine, I really do think you can learn a lot about someone just by how they handle power. People who treat their power with good intentions bring freedom & prosperity for the mass populous while people who do the contrary bring tyranny and poverty to the people. This why we must all be very careful who we allow into power and not allow ourselves to be deceived. Even though I didn't agree with Obama on certain things, he did say one thing that is very true in the context of my contribution of this thread: "Elections have consequences."
