3DS Theme Question...

I was looking for a New Year's Eve theme and came across the Animal Crossing one. It says it's from 2015. I was wondering if it displayed the year and if the year changed. I don't want to buy it if it says it's "2015". If any one has this theme could you let me know how it works? Thanks!

I have it and no it doesn't change, it would have been nice if it did.

It would just say 2015.

Sigh... I sort of figured it might not change the year but was really hoping it did. It's really cute & it's the only NYE theme I could find. Oh well. Thank you so very much for answering my questions!
