i try to get things by myself for the most part, i find that it adds to the fun for me! but if i wanted an alternate coloured nook miles item or a certain villager that someone already had in boxes, then i'd trade/buy

Yep, I trade pretty regularly. That said, I probably am more reserved with trades right now because the game is fresh and demand makes it easy for things to get skewed pretty high. But overall, I think finding people to trade with and trade reasonably is pretty easy. During the day can be a little more daunting as the forums have higher traffic and posts move quickly. Late night and early morning is a bit more chill.

I've been buying Nook Miles Tickets for the most part. I bought a few items, and I've also been visiting different people's towns to buy things. But I am focusing on finding my villagers myself~ ^_^

I trade a lot with my partner and people on this site. I was a tradeaholic lol with NL; my friends list had to constantly be cleared because I would reach max capacity. Thankful for dodo codes!

I traded with someone for NMT with TBT, but with the current prices, I'm not planning on doing much trading. I might trade stuff with friends but that's different than dishing up exuberant amounts of IGB for villagers or NMT.

Normally I try to get stuff by myself with few exceptions, flowers I traded to get seeds abd the other basic colours as there’s no way to get them all otherwise

I jump-start with some simple early trades for fruit/tools plus do some early cheesing of Turnip prices so I never have to touch them again, but I largely avoid trading unless I really want/need soemthing. With the rampant villager glitches going on after v1.1.2, I'm satified to just camp here on v1.1.0 for now. About the only thing I wish I traded for earlier was the non-native basic flowers.

I don't have Nintendo Switch Online so I've been doing as much as I can on my own. I'll probably get a subscription for fruit and flowers I can't get on my own, but not until I have 10 villagers so as not to risk getting stuck with someone else's void villager.

I've gotten everything on my own so far, but I don't have an online subscription right now either.

I'll probably get an online subscription eventually since there's some things you can't get without trading, such as the alternate colors of the Nook Miles furniture.

The only things I've traded for so far are flowers and fruits. Everything else, I try to do on my own. Even with turnips, I try to sell on my own or with my housemate. Eventually though, I'll be trading a lot more.

For now I'm not trading, I was lucky enough to have a friend send me the last two foreign fruits I needed. I know I'll eventually need to trade to get all the flower types, but for now I'm happy taking it slow and trying to obtain as much as I can on my own.
