Congrats on your anniversary! Other than helping me to stay coooooool! , TBT has definitely helped me form some very lovely connections with people that I would never have met otherwise. It's always lovely to interact with so many people on here. I've even gone on holiday to Disneyland Paris with a friend I met on here! TBT is really special at bringing people together and I'm lucky to get to be a member.

TBT has been a huge part of my life, and it's always been a cozy place on the internet for me to come back to! I've made lots of great friends here over the many years I've been on here! I also I love all the fun events that make me get up and do things :]

i only joined and became active during space camp, but in that short time i’ve met a lot of good people on tbt
i love chatting, playing games, and having inside jokes with friends

Hey, we joined at almost the same time! Congrats on your 10 year milestone. Stay coooooool!

When I first joined TBT, I joined specifically to talk about New Leaf and trade with other people. I wasn't really clued in to all the site events. At the time it was a fun outlet for me to discuss my favorite game with other people, find cool towns to visit, and occasionally adopt villagers--I was able to find Antonio, Lolly, Vesta, Deli, and Bluebear here. After Welcome Amiibo came out, I also did some card trading through TBT.

I participated in events here and there, but the 2021 Summer Camp was the first time I went all-in. I decided to be brave and post art to help my team. I ended up loving the camp experience (and the Poliwags won!) Since then I've been pretty involved in the forum events and activities. I'm always struck by the generosity of members here, who will give away rare collectibles, date trade to help somebody out, or post encouraging profile comments about a short story even though it wouldn't be weird at all to say nothing.

I don't really have TBT friends like other users, but I still think it's so nice to have a generally friendly, positive, welcoming corner of the internet that also offers relative anonymity. In a world where every website is competing to be the most intrusive form of social media, I think TBT is pretty magical. This website encourages community, inspires me to draw and write and create even via avenues I don't normally try, and keeps everyone coming back for a wide variety of free activities. And I've never even had to post my first name anywhere. It's a breath of fresh air to me!

I know everyone else has said this but I really appreciate the community on this site. Everyone is really nice and I love playing games with and talking to people! The events are also really nice and I enjoy those.

Congratulations on your 10 year TBTversary!

I feel so lucky to have found TBT. I am actually a very, very, very introverted person and I think TBT has gotten me to come out of my shell a little bit (at least online). I think it has genuinely made me a better person, though I could be even better tbh. Another thing I love about these forums is that it gets me to do arts and crafts in all those fun events

TBT is just such a nice community and I love that it's centered around Animal Crossing! I love the events and the collectibles and being able to buy in-game items for an affordable price from trusted members. I feel bad for anyone in the AC community who may not know about The Bell Tree Forums because they are really missing out.
