A bit of a disappointment..

Do you still enjoy Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer?

As a spinoff, it is generally a fun game to pace out with. I did the dumb decision and completed the main part of the game in two days, which left me bored with it afterwards. Now I just occasionally play it so that way I can enjoy every part of my gameplay. c:

It got boring to me fairly fast, but so did New Leaf. Video games can't hold my attention for too long anymore. Nevertheless, I thought Happy Home Designer was a great spin-off for the Animal Crossing series. I was hesitant to buy it, but I was glad I did.

I don't know why people were expecting a new full-blown Animal Crossing. I'll tell you what kind of Animal Crossing game you'd get made in the time between Animal Crossing New Leaf and Happy Home Designer and that's... City Folk. A poorly-thrown together mess. It'd be an even bigger disaster following up New Leaf. I want to see Nintendo aspire to make the next Animal Crossing as good of a sequel as New Leaf. However long it takes them, I'll give it to them. I don't want another City Folk. Ever.

I do kind of feel like they've just sort of rushed it and thought that by tagging on the animal crossing name it would appeal to the fans of the series. I bought the game a few months back and up until now, I've still only played it a handful of times. I think it might have been better to have waited and maybe incorporated aspects of home designer into a new leaf type of game.
It's not terrible by any means, and I also hate being negative, particularly about animal crossing as I have loved new leaf and wild world. Just a bit disappointed with it

I got the N3DS bundle that came with Happy Home Designer. I liked the game and played it a lot, I like decorating the villager's homes. I probably wouldn't have bought the game on its own, but I don't regret buying it with the DS.

This is what annoys me the most. People expect another New Leaf with a spinoff. It's called a spinoff for a reason. If anything, I expected less of details and editing options with this game. People have waaaay too high of expectations. It wasn't trying to be a new New Leaf game.
