A Cordial Invitation

Here's my entry! I decided to recreate the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Nintendo Switch with a little bit of a different design, having my villager as the spotlight instead of the Nook brothers. It's a 3D pop-up invitation!

Probably could have made it look even better if I gave myself more time, but better near the end than never!

I did my best to capture the shading and veins on the leaf, medium is cardstock paper, colored pencils, and white ink pen on the back.

I tried lol. The silhouette in the water is supposed to be Pascal floating with the sun setting. The idea came to me from all of Pascal's many words of wisdom. Some are silly and some are good advice to live by.

Birthdays are like sunsets maaaan. They always happen whether you acknowledge it or not. So why not take the time to enjoy the moment.​
