Velma said this to me:

She said that Winnie was a 'he' and a 'him'.
But last time I checked, Winnie was definitely a girl.

There's a pink box around her name, she sounds like a girl and her personality is Peppy. (she says 'ohmigosh')

Do you guys think this is a mistake that wasn't looked over when in development..?
I'm just curious.

I've noticed that since the ds version, Bella is both seen as a male and female. You can get Bella the mouse with a blue screen or pink screen. Strange indeed! :D

The translation team probably forgot to swap out the pronouns for girl characters. They should fix it through an update, once this error is brought to their attention.

It's funny, my husband got Whitney in is town in Wild World and she was a male, she spoke and had the personality of grumpy male. He was pretty bothered by her, so he let her move out and she moved to my town where she went back to normal :D
We said she had her gender changed lol

This happened to me with Alli too..she was talking about Bunnie. Maybe it's just that string of dialogue?

Maybe the snooty villagers are so snooty they see the other females (probably a certain personality) as solely males? XD
