Or if you're Nat,

"I too want a strawberry friend to eat snacks with.

The grass looks really nice! A subtle enough pattern that you don't realize it is there at first. Then the more you look at it the more details come out. I think that is what I'm going to love most about the game. All the teeny tiny little details.

This looks so stunning! I love the grass detailing so much. The general feeling and atmosphere I've been getting from these screenshots and trailers has been so lovely. Can't wait!

Everything in this screenshot looks so clean and beautiful, makes me even more excited for the game.

It's so crisp and nice looking, especially since there's not much to it lol!
I decided to watch the direct on my Switch again last night and it's so much nicer compared to watching it on YouTube. Makes you get a feel of how the game will actually look while you're playing.

Exactly this. It looks infinitely better when watching on a big screen. It's going to be amazing!

It definitely does look crisp! Playing it on the big screen is going to be awesome. Kind of sad that we only start out with a few villagers, though </3 Just a lil different, but that's okay! I'm still so excited.

Honestly I can't wait to play the game. Cranston is looking pretty cute!

Looks fresh from the oven. Love the details

I thought i saw custom pattern in other similar pictures idk

So wait, I'm confused by this grass. Are those individual blades and tufts just an effect as the ground disappears into the horizon, or will there be patches of long grass you can pluck and craft with?

everything looks so beautiful!! i remember when cranston used to be one of my favs so it's lovely to see him again. i really like how instead of making nametags blue and pink they now just match with the villagers color theme; it makes talking to them feel more personal, and it'll be interesting to dress them up now that i also have to worry about not clashing with their nametags haha. i think the new UI (inventory, speech bubbles, etc.) is very modernly basic now, and while that kinda sucks because it's not as animal crossing-y, i still can't help but love that style. the hair seems to have kept a bit of its shine though it's definitely not as severe looking, however that could just depend on the time of day. i had thought about rocks on beaches/rock beaches and i'm glad it's kind of been confirmed!! the grass and sand look really amazing, too; they have a lot of texture compared to new leaf. march 20th please come quick!

In fairness the text bubble is basically the same as ACGC, WW and CF. Only NL had a polka-dot pattern for its speech bubbles on a black background.
I quite like the text as well, but I think the text from the original game will always be the best. I usually like it when it's a bit more narrow, but this sort of thing doesn't bother me.
