So wait, I'm confused by this grass. Are those individual blades and tufts just an effect as the ground disappears into the horizon, or will there be patches of long grass you can pluck and craft with?

i think its for immersion purposes (in my opinion) to make the world feel more alive

StarlitGlitch posted a video on how no news is good news recently, basically summarizing that if they weren't too confident in their product, they'd be posting more adverts to that extent, you can go watch it :)

It looks cute! It took me a minute to realize they're keeping it as a pet and NOT eating it! x3

It's been so long since a new Animal Crossing game that the graphic improvement is shocking. I can't wait.

Looks super cute and good but I’m not really a fan of the speech bubble. I liked it when the speech bubble was transparent.

The mention of "snacks" reminds me of Pocket Camp, yikes. Hopefully, that is just because I have been playing PC today. (grin)

It kind of bugs me how the villager's name is slightly slanted lol but I'm sure I'll get used to it. Otherwise it looks beautiful! The grass is gorgeous, and I know I'm gonna be getting excited about how great the shadows look for a looong time

Edit: bugs me....... pun not intended

i didn’t notice it was slanted until you said something - that kind of bugs me a bit too lol

I just noticed that the villagers name are not blue or pink. If there are new ones coming, how are we supposed to know if they are male or female? Some Villagers like Katt, Agent S, Biskit, Charlise, Fang, etc could easily be passed as the other gender.

Maybe gender isn’t important at all anymore. I could even imagine that we won‘t be asked if we are male or female and that we can chose whatever hair, eyes... we want right from the start without being limited to male
or female options?

that’d be nice. but maybe for the villagers we’ll be able to tell from the sound of them talking since that usually lets us know what personality they are which’ll tell us what gender they are.

tsk, silly! Everyone knows: girls have eyelashes and boys are cranky! =P

But not all of them. Charlise, Gruff, Ed, have eyelash. Dora , Kitt, Dotty, Gabi do not. And then some like Agent S or Kid cat, you really can’t see.

I guess it won’t be too important in the new game. Maybe they have us assume what they are. Kind of like how the NPC are green.

Well in most cases you can tell by their tone of voice. The only thing this doesn't apply to (in previous games) was Gracie's, Pav?'s and Saharah's voices which are ambiguous. I think they change their gender each game. I believe Pav? is a male with a peppy voice in NL.

I heard that it was to make the villagers seem more real....so nothing about gender here
