So we can't curse on the forums on the forums and discord, right? So, why can't we use asterisks (***) to block off curse works on the Discord like it automatically does on the forums?

yeah the bot they use (dyno) can turn swear words into another word so idk why it deletes it. it's quite inconvenient

At the time we implemented the bot, it was impossible to do such a thing as Discord bots would need to be able to edit another user's messages to censor, which again wasn't possible at the time. (and this is probably for the best, I can only imagine the abuse in some servers if it were possible to edit other user's messages...) If that's changed since and someone can show me a solid bot with the proper functionality, I'd be happy to change to a censor setup rather than deletion.

What if we personally filter it ourselves is the question. <3
