i got glasses on tuesday
I CAN SEE THE WORLD CLEARLY NOW

My vision was 20/20 in my left eye, 20/80 in my right eye.
Now with my glasses things don't have a blurry border, and colors stick out more.

It's just nice so I felt like sharing

But can you see why kids love the taste of Cinnamon Toast Crunch?

Getting glasses and losing my 20/20 vision makes me sad. I can never wake up and see the world perfectly clear again, instead I need aides, such as contacts and glasses, and that depresses me. Sure, with contacts I can see ****, but I really feel like I should've took care of my eyes more.

THIS, my whole life I've been the one person in my family without glasses and with straight teeth, I've always been SO PROUD of both of these things. But now my vision is getting worse, I think it's because of how much time I spend at a computer with my work and stuff, so now a lot of things are blurry for me and i find myself squinting all the time. I definitely will be getting glasses this next year, probably just going to go with my sister to Lens Crafters or something and get a few cheaper pairs online instead of busting my wallet for a $400 dollar pair of glasses. Kind of sad to have been the one everyone in my family asked to read something and now losing my perfect vision. =[

this seems more like a blog post...

you don't understand the amazing feeling it is to have sight!! I didn't get glasses till middle school and had no idea people around me had such good vision. For some reason I had put off getting them and spent like a month just walking around all amazed..."whoa I can read those street signs!....neat I can tell whos sitting across the room now!" my eyes were measured at -4.25 diopters which is like 20/300 vision I believe? I've never gone a day without my glasses since~

I wanted to tell everybody how cool it is to see to :)

that's a great feeling! ive had glasses for a few years but recently got contacts and having an empty face while being able to see everything is so refreshing. every time i get a new prescription, things get crisper too and i find it very satisfying lmao.

Noice, I remember when I was little when I first got my first pair of glasses and it was in a way eye opening. It's so clear and I've been through many pairs of glasses with different perscriptions and I'll probably have to get a higher perscription soonish. Tbh I kinda want contacts, but my boyfriend is so against it I would feel bad if I got them :T

i hate wearing my glasses so im just slightly blind all the time. oops.

I got my glasses like 2 years ago. I had such good vision, but now I'm blind af lmao

Bruh, your eye shape is ****ed. No amount of eye care would have saved your cornea.

I remember having that feeling when I got contacts. I clearly remember thinking, "Wooow! I can see textures! I didn't know you could do that." For real. I was so amazed that I could see the lines in the bark on a tree. It was like the coolest thing ever. I totally get it. lol.

I remember when I first got my glasses. It was like magic. Everything was so crisp and clear and focused, I couldn't believe how much I was missing out on. No more squinting and straining when going to the movies! Happy days. Congrats.

i was supposed to go for an eye test almost a year ago but i forgot & i haven't been bothered since. my vision isn't too bad but my short vision is awful

Congrats! Ive been wearing glasses for a few years now, and I have a few tips for you!

1. you probably know this cuz common sense, but dont set your glasses down lens-down. That could scratch them.
2. If your glasses are dirty and you have 3 minutes to spare, use dish soap to wash them and wipe them off with a paper towel or the cleaning cloth that came with them.
