ACNH Screenshots: Do you take them? How often? Then what do you do with them?

Yeah, I take a lot and I upload them to my Twitter. It's not like I have a social following or anything.

It's usually like weird/funny moments, villager dialogue or custom design screenshots for commissions.

I’m obsessive with both photos and videos, even hit the 1000 video cap recently. Occasionally it’s island progression however it’s mostly cute or amusing things that happened during my playtime. I have a dummy twitter account for particular screenshots, but I don’t publicly post them.

That’s a nice idea of compiling faved screenshots into a photo booklet. Gives me an idea for the future with all the photos I take of Sprocket; there are way too many to count.

I take a ton of screenshots and I always take videos whenever the villagers are singing. I’ve uploaded a few of both, but not a whole ton. I haven’t had to make space yet on my sd card either which I’m glad about!

I only take screenshots of interesting/cute things my villagers do, or when I upgraded the store or any other sort of ceremony. I also record videos of said ceremonies if I had to take like 20 screenshots to document everything. Just one video and it's done lol.

I take them whenever a villager is stalking a bug or trying to lift weights. It's just so cute I just want to keep that image forever!

I don't tend to take that many screenshots. For the most part I take them either when I have a Nook Miles+ task for them (so it ends up being some boring screenshot, lol), when something interesting happens that I want to share with my friends or when my friends send me something and I want to show it to them when thanking them.

As for what I do with them, well, either I upload it to my private Twitter account solely for my Switch screenshots (since I don't have a microSD card and don't anticipate getting one any time soon) or I just leave it alone until I need to delete it for more space.

I take so many screenshots my villagers must think I’m a creep. Today when I went to visit Dom in his house he was reading on a bench. I took pictures of each of his expressions as he was reading Too adorable!!

I literally just hit my screenshot limit due to ACNH. I tend to take them when my villagers are doing something cute or funny. Mostly when they’re saying something funny.

i take at least one screenshot everyday for my ac journal but besides that, i’ll take screenshots whenever i see something new/pretty or when one of my villagers do or say something cute/funny aha

I take screenshots all the time. I take the most of Moe, Tom and Kabuki lately, but I've been posting some of them to my island journal.
I just took a picture of Moe yesterday that I really love. He's real cute. I also took a bunch of screenshots when I played new leaf, I never did anything with those photos though!

I'm trying my best to take screenshots of everything interesting I see and do, but of course, I just started taking pictures since now I have my character the way I would like her. I want lots of pictures to use as references once I save enough tbt to start getting artwork of my character. Sometimes I use the pictures as my avatar here on TBT and Discord.

Me too! I'm not alone! The ones I stalk on my island are Tangy and Dom. They have such a good variety of facial expressions and some of them just crack me up every single time.

I take them - they’re fun to look back at and reminisce! I would probably have forgotten a lot of these little moments that made me smile if I hadn’t taken a screenshot.

That is also a reason why I make screenshots. My elderly memory is failing me. Even now, when I look at screenshots I had taken of my island or player character at the start of the game, I realize how much has changed. I've already forgotten many things that happened. And I do enjoy looking at screenshots of the villagers who have long left my island.

For me, whenever a video happens, it's by accident! I should upgrade the Smart Department in my brain soon. Oh wait, it doesn't exist...

Half of mine I take with my mom when we are hanging out together as a sort of scrapbook.

In the beginning, I used to take them occasionally to have a sort of timeline and would often think of taking a picture when I wore something new (back before I had access to much clothing).

Now, when I am playing alone, I generally only take pictures if I want to adjust my decorating so that I can compare to see what is better (likewise with minor terraforming changes) or when I see a villager sitting somewhere cute in town. Pecan was actually sitting in my playground area today so I got to take a cute scenery pic.

I think I have around 30? I delete the decoration/terraforming comparison pics as soon as I am done with them and only keep my favorite picture when I take multiple of the same thing.

Oh, I'm so glad I'm not alone! Some days I'll just take a cute screenshot as soon as I walk out of my house because I'm just feeling the way the sky looks or something, and then I get that little beeping telling me I ALSO just got some miles for doing that. :d Always a pleasant surprise.

Oh man, this is my first Animal Crossing game, so everything is literally new to me! I reached the cap of 1k screenshots and constantly have to delete if I want to take more! I especially love taking pictures of the sky haha
