Are you sure that site is accurate? SSBM has been sold for years and it hasn't sold more than ACWW? I don't think thats possible. SSBM is a game known to basically everyone that owns/owned a gamecube.

Well a lot more people own a DS than a GameCube (currently double).

Well that is true...but more of the people I know have SSBM than ACWW. I don't know anyone (in real life) that has ACWW. They think its a "little kids" game. Most of the people who try it end up liking it though, I let a few of my friends try it. About 2 out of 3 liked it.

Well half of the sales are from Japan, so...

oh yeah that is probably why. Japan seems to have different tastes than the usa. Like that game Brain age. It sold about 1 million here, and in Japan it sold millions.
