Do you have an extra character in your town? (so like, another human villager)

I was going to make one for extra patterns but you have to unlock the machine again... ;-; I always think about making one, but not until I've completed my house on my current. Do you guys have one? If so, why? Or if not, WHY not? I also don't like having the blue house on the map.

I have just one for now, which does hold my patterns. I didnt really pay attention much to unlocking the QR code machine really though, i just planned out what patterns she would hold and where to place them so it didnt seem to drag so much, once its done its worth it!

Yep! She's mostly for patterns and to have more space to display sets. And unlocking the QR machine didn't take nearly as long as it did for my mayor.

I have three characters, each house is for a totally different purpose. Eventually they'll all be fully built and furnished, but it's a process....I do use the 2nd one to hold patterns while my mayor is where I work on new patterns. But mainly I have them to build and furnish different houses.

Me and my boyfriend share AC, he's the mayor, despite the fact that I take care of the town and everything like that!

I have two characters, in the future for patterns, I`m in the proces of unlocking that, but also for extra storage and sending letters with fruits to gain all the fruit types. I`m trying to completely upgrade the house, so I can store as much up there as I can for now, later on it will be properly arranged, also double villager pics can go there.

I have a mayor and two other characters. They all have fully expanded houses that I'm currently furbishing and all three hold path patterns.

I have 2 extra characters. Sometimes it's really worth it ! Mostly for holding my path patterns. My mayor holds cloth designs and has extra space to create new patterns. If you get unbuyable dlcs, so you can have more than one
I didn't fully expanded their houses. I also use them to get different themes of houses. I'm using the third character for selling turnips. Sometimes I create a 4th character to choose the place for my future move-ins.

I have three, my mayor, and one to hold my turnips (so her closet is only full on turnips), and my third one is just to have a different house/ life. my mayor has a fancy castle with rich fancy things, but i wanted a laid back/ modern house so my third chacter has my dream house

(or will have my dream house when i get the money .-. )

I have three characters as well. My main has a Rustic theme going for him, and well... used for my main purposes.

Then I have my first alt, a guy, who lives next to Re-Tail and used to speed up villagers buying things there. He's got a Toy Shop Theme going with a completed house, 4 mannequins, and extremely high HHA score. I was going to use him to be mean to some villagers just to see if there was a nickname for being mean to neighbors, but I felt too guilty doing that and gave that up for just another character to hopefully get pictures and B-day presents. He also holds most of my extra clothes that I haven't made an outfit for.

My third alt was made intentionally based off a character I have in a story, and she is going for a fairy tale theme in her house. She also has her four mannequins too, and the female clothes of the game (cause... only female human here). I have her holding my non-reorderable furniture from events and such. her birthday is coming up as well, so trying to get her friendship levels up with the neighbors.

My husband and I both play NL, and he has a character on my file. I asked him to play because I needed another house for the story I want my town to tell.
