The DS Lite I've had for a year and about 6 months is finally dieing on me. The hinge is broken (normal though) and whenever I put games in, it only plays sometimes, so I have to keep reseting it. Now today, my DS made this really wierd screeching noise when I turned it on. Not good. Now I take care of my electronics so that shouldn't be the problem.

I've been thinking about getting the Zelda bundle and than selling Phantom Hourglass online. Do you think it's worth it, cause slowly my ds is breaking. (If that's actually a DS bundle at Sears.

 )

I got the crimson/black bundle with Brain Age 2. Comes with a very sexy case, too.

My DS I got on launch in November 2004 was still fine when I sold it last week, what have you been doing to your poor DS Lite?

I'm currently in denial about my DS's slow death...

But yeah, the Zelda thing looks pretty cool. I'm also a fan of the Crimson-red-and-black one too, though...

My normal bleh silver DS is fine.

Well I broke the L button off my original DS so I got a Lite about a year ago... THe night I got it I spilled fruit punch on it. >_< But it still works fine.

My white DS Lite is slowly dying too

:( The hinge is cracked and my L and b buttins sometimes dont work, especially the L button, and the L and R buttons are faded to a yellowy color as well. I don't know what i'm going to do about it yet >_<

My launch DS is perfectly fine, too... do you eat while you play?

:p
Was that directed to me about my yellow L and R buttons?

:p If so, no, I always have clean hands when i game to prevent what's actually happened

I think I want to upgrade to a DS lite... and the Red and black one is what I want.

What do you do to your DS though? Put it through the laundry? Mine is fine from the launch of the DS phat.... other than minor cosmetic scratches...

My cracked hinge is from the slight defects of the first DS Lites and my buttons are probably from a massive amount of play. I take very good care of it.

Sorry about the double post >_<

Nothing really, however the first wave of Lites weren't made very well. The ed hinge is Nintendo's fault basically.

Other than that, I really haven't dropped it or anything major liked that, I mean it's obviously when you leave a DS in your pocket.

Well, no matter what we all tell you, you should really make your own decision on this on if you want to be happy with it. Go to the store and buy the one that you like the best.

I'm still using my big fat old red Mario Kart DS.

Odd, with the news of the new DS redesign, maybe we should both hold off on thinking of getting new lites and wait for the newest upcoming DS.

:D That is if you didn't already get a new one

:p
