Feeling bored, Artemis started tying her found flowers into her pinkish red hair.

"Well is there a way for me to dry off faster?" I questioned Darren. As I spoke, I started to twist my white hair, trying to squeeze the water out.

"Then I'll be the first." I muttered, dragging myself over to my bag. I yanked out a towel, and worked at drying myself until my legs came back. "Does this water=fish tail last forever? Or is it temporary?"

Jet continued to watch them, and was incredibly confused. He sat ontop of his sand tomb, watching her legs grow back. He felt like the only one who hadn't said a word about this matter, and decided he would keep his mouth shut still.

The heat was unbearable and the beaches were crowded
with men and woman and even people with their animals. So, Minami walked
up to the gate that blocked out the private beach, quickly jumping over it.
There were only a few people there, and they didn't seem to notice her at first.
The blonde watched them for a moment, seeing a person with a towel over
their fake, attached mermaid tail, or at least she thought it was fake. Until
she rashly walked in front of them and sat onto the hot beige sand, as her
legs greeted the water..​

"Ahh, but what's wrong with a fish tail?" Naegi asked curiously, he really wanted Rin to give him answers because he really didn't understand, and all of this getting legs business didn't really help matters at all.

I stared at Naegi like he was crazy. "I prefer to stay on land where it's nice and dry. But if I even get a drop of water on my skin, I won't be able to move much." I hissed at him.

Artemis rolled her eyes. "In danger of what exactly?"

"In danger of being called freaks!" I laughed as I walked back over to my fishing spot to place a wide brimmed beach hat atop my head. "Not like that bothers me. When you're an albino, being called a freak soon becomes the same as being called human. No differences to me." I grumbled, quickly packing up my things.

"Ah, or in danger of being like... dissected? filled with despair and our hope shattered of ever feeling happiness again?" Naegi gulped as he offered his piece of mind to the conversation, hoping the girl would understand why this should be kept a secret, slowly but surely, the brunette swam over to the pier, calling out to her.

"Hm, you really shouldn't let people call you a freak, I think you're pretty normal, not freakish at all." It was an absent compliment if any, but Naegi didn't want the girl to just accept other's insults.

"Ah, but I don't. If I'm called a freak, I just breat them!" I chuckled, but stopped as I was about to pick up the now wet fishing rod. As I stared at it, I quickly threw it onto the dock but my hand got damp from the wet wood. "Aha! Victory! I'm not a fish!" I cheered, but 15 seconds after, I cursed as I fell backwards into the ocean, my arms pinwheeling as the tail appeared.

Artemis sat on the sand, wiggling her bare feet in the sand. "Well, they'll have to catch me first." She replied with a smirk.

"You can't dissect what you can't catch."

Naegi chuckled a little, closing his eyes as he imagined the girl just beating up anyone that insulted her, it wasn't the most polite way to handle things, and sure was pretty hostile, but at least she defended herself, not to mention Naegi felt the sinking suspicion if he said anything against it, she would want to have an argument, and he wasn't one for those.

"Oh! try to be more careful, o-oh wow!"- Naegi shrieked at the girl pummeled down into the water, reacting fast and reaching up to catch her, yet more than likely just failing considering he wasn't that strong after all.

"Land people are crazy! who knows what they'll do!"​

"Yuck! I got sal****er in my mouth!" I growled, but my pale cheeks instantly took on a pinkish hue as I realized I was more or less in his arms. "T-tails are flipping useless!" I hissed, quickly pushing away from him.
