"Sorry, but I'm going to have Naegi teach me." I muttered as my cheeks turned a light shade of pink. "Perhaps you should help that kid over there. He's screaming so much, my ears are gonna bleed." I added, pointing to Jay.

Jet growled as the girl pointed at her. "Well your ears are gonna bleed then!" He continued screaming as he felt his tail. "Tailtailtailtaiiii..." He hissed as he stared at it, his eyes widening as he came to realize - his tail was real. This was real. He began to giggle as he stared at it, his eyes widening more.

Darren look over at Jet, "Wanna learn how to be a big strong merman?" trying to appeal to Jet.​

"No!" He said as he splashed about. "However, you can teach me how to swim." He sounded like he was demanding it, but it was just because he was still shocked. He splashed about more, half due to being a kid, the other half being because he couldn't swim properly.

Naegi couldn't help but chuckle at the misunderstanding, mermen were quick to not hear somethings right, and Naegi was no exception, however this time he was sure that Rin was actually telling him to help her swim, and it sounded a little fun, although it also made him quite nervous.

"Alright, in that case... can you try to splash your fin for me?" It was an easy task that he had asked, and Naegi smiled sheepishly as he waited.

"Alright..." I muttered as I awkwardly splashed the tail. Once I got the hang of it, a grin shone on my face as Ii splashed a curtain of water at him.

Darren was teaching as the full moon raised up "EVERYONE TO THE MOON POOL!" The Moon Pool is a pool inside a cave that protects mermaids from the full moon's spell. Darren and everyone else rushed to the Moon Pool.​

"Alright..." I muttered as I awkwardly splashed the tail. Once I got the hang of it, a grin shone on my face as Ii splashed a curtain of water at him.

Naegi let out a gasp, and then couldn't help yet to laugh as he got soaked by the curtain of water, swishing his fin a little bit, the boy splashed Rin back with just as much force so the water would get her too. "Ah, I'm not going down that easy!" he exclaimed with a grin

"H-hey!" I growled, diving into the water. Finally getting the hang of my tail, I swam under him, grabbing his fin, grinning as I yanked him underwater.

Naegi let out a high-pitched squeal before he was pulled under the water, struggling a little until he just let himself go underwater, blinking to adjust his eyesight, he gave the girl a frown to let her know he wasn't too happy to be taken down like that, yet grinned afterwards since he was still playful.

(I'm assuming they are in the moon pool place- cx )

Seeing a tunnel leading out of the cave, I took Naegi's hand, leading him out into the moonlit ocean.

"Guys, the full moon is starting!" "All the older mermaids and mermen in the moon pool! We can soak in the moon's power, everyone else go hide!" Darren look worried as they might fail as he looked up into the moon to soak in the moon's power with the other mermaids and mermen--everyone had a tough time getting out of the water "Come on you guys!" Darren rushed them.​

Jet listened to Darren as he quickly rushed out of the moon pool, or at least attempted to. As Darren rushed them, he attempted to swim quicker. He coughed out water and stared at the older mermaids and mermen with blank eyes as he carefully shuffled towards his sand tomb.
