I've watched seasons 1-4 and i thought coven and murder house were the best. Freakshow by far was the worst :/ what were/are your favorite seasons?
ps take the poll because im in an argument with my friend because she said coven sucked and she thinks asylum was the best

Stupidly enough, I haven't watched any of the older ones yet. I got into it because of Lady Gaga's appearance, and I expected to stop watching after she went, but now I'm hooked. Once the current season is over I'm gonna watch all the old ones.

6. hotel (AWFUL. only season of AHS I have not finished)

I loved coven, and the music they played throughout the season was so pretty. the ending was a little predictable but I really liked the characters. all the seasons with taissa farmiga have been great c: I love her!

All of them are kinda cringeworthy in acting and plot but freakshow at least had more interesting characters.

asylum > coven > murder house = freak show > hotel (i havent finished it yet)
the only season that lives up to its name and can be called "horror" was the beginning of murder house honestly, from there on for the rest of the seasons its really just a psychological melodrama tbh

I think coven is better. At least it made more sense, ya know? Pretty simple plot, witches be *****es.

But Asylum is a little confusing at times, and then at the end you're like..."WHAT? HOW? WHY?"

ok I changed my mind roanoke nightmare is awful. it was good up until 2 episodes ago and I couldn't even finish last night's episode... too gore-y. the twist SUCKED

personally i thought asylum and coven were both great but i watched asylum first so i went with that

i binged the first 3 seasons last year, coven was probs the better out of the 3. when i started freakshow it was sorta boring so like i just ditched the series lolrip. might get back into it idk

As a practicing witch, I found Coven to be absolutely dreadful. As a watcher of AHS, I found Coven to be absolutely dreadful. Except for Murder House, AHS has suffered from season to season in my opinion. Everytime a new season begins, I am filled with hope by the theme and they never fail to deliver turd after turd. It just seems they have never been able to recapture the lightning in a bottle of season one. Again, just this viewers opinion.

And sorry, this was a comparison of Asylum and Coven. I thought Asylum was much stronger a season. Better storyline, better acting, more original.

I LOVED Murder House and Coven. Asylum was ok, I didn't like it the first time I watched it but on a binge I re-watched it and liked it better. Freak Show was ok wasn't really a huge fan. Hotel, I don't know, I have really mixed feelings, I liked some of it but a lot of it was just "meh" I mean I could really tell they went all out with it but honestly it didn't meet my expectations. Roanoake I have only watched the first 3 episodes and so far I actually really enjoy it, I think it's because I love those kinds of shows, like Paranormal Witness and "I Survived" and stuff. I've already seen spoilers of later episodes and it's going right where I had figured it was going. I need to catch up really bad because that was my whole point in binging through Hotel and Freak Show.

In whole I really like that not every season is the same, I love shows with different story lines and stuff and how they connect so you know they're in the same universe, I think it's quite neat. =]

Murder House was okay. Asylum was pretty good. Coven was HILARIOUS. Freak Show sucked ass, especially when they started bringing in random characters for like one episode. Hotel I couldn't finish.

ROANOAKE IS ****ING AMAZING HOLY ****. The first half of the season was easily my favorite of all seasons so far. Jesus christ it just stands alone on it's own so well.

And Roanoake Part 2 is looking pretty damn good so if it sucks, I can just rewatch the first half for how good it was.

To be honest, Roanoke is my favorite season at the moment.
