It's time to take a side.. The battle starts NOW!
(There are couple of threads like this but in this one you can only choose between iOS or Android. No "neither" or "I love both" choices)
Android because it's more user-friendly, flexible and cheap, isn't exclusive unlike iPhone/MacOS. Literally rejects anything that isn't related to Apple.
I've had an android phone since late 2013 and it's always been my favorite. I had an iPhone 4S from October 2014 to November 2016, and I gotta say that was the most miserable time of my life. I hated that phone so much, I was very happy to finally upgrade to a Galaxy S7.
Android, Apple goes out of their way to get cuts of your transactions on their devices. You'll end up paying more if you want to subscribe to Twitch streamers and such. Apple seems to make a lot of useless design choices as well.
I'm for iphone. I like android too, but iphones work best for my lifestyle. Androids have way better cameras, but iphone UI is easier for me. I like imessage with my other friends who have iphones. And i can airdrop quickly files/pics to my macbook and ipad. My airpods connect very fast to my devices. My ipad has a better frame rate with games than an android tablet. my macbook air is very sleek and lightweight for on the go for me, and I like the aesthetic of apple devices.
Androids for me by default. It's mind-boggling to think that Apple would remove some basic features such as a headphone jack for example. If we're also considering other phones that are android devices like Asus, I'm also for it because it just seems to be more convenient for users.
Iphone because that's the phone I have. I also prefer the layout and design of Iphones. I find them easier to use, siri and the emojis are a bonus too. I don't like the emotes that come with android phones too much. My sister has an android, and I find it kinda hard to use to be honest, it might be because i'm so used to apple products.
I have used both iPhone and android. However, I prefer android for the customization options and accessibility. With iPhone you cant download a theme for your entire phone that also customizes your apps too, you cant split screen and watch YouTube while you do something else.. better cameras, better stability, sturdy, and they dont slow down over time. My iPhone has slowed down and lags, it's only 2 or 3 years old. My Samsung S6 of the same age operates faster than before. Not to bash iPhone, because iphone has good stuff like facetime.. but we have Google duo so we can facetime anyone of any OS, apple or android. Sorry iPhones, androids just do it better lol
I choose Android, while I do not have a smartphone yet. But when I do get one it will be a pixel 2 which is android. I live with three iPhone users and I've seen the struggles they go through.
Like how after a certain amount of updates the phone slows down. How even with great care a camera lens can be damaged. Apple seems to encourage people getting new phones quicker. What with the full glass front and back of the x. And it seems once the new models are released, Apple releases updates that effects the battery life seemingly.
