@Lyraa yes, they are very much more sturdy as long as you get a phone wallet and not just a case, idk how people even break their screen that easily.. wait they only have a case or nothing on them at all.

And yeah my iPhones that I had worked/works fine as long as you don't clog them with too much stuff like apps and such. Yeah the price tag is a bit hefty but as long as you don't need the newest and latest model they work fine. And yeah idc for customization or overly extra features, as long as I can navigate my way around and do what I need I'm good. Why would you need t xustomize that bad though, I ask android users; It's just menu/app icons for your daily things.. really people.

There are definitely pros and cons to both. iPhones have incredible build quality, and a well optimized OS. Unfortunately, Apple intentionally slows down older models (and admitted it in December of last year). I personally do not like iOS because of the incredibly excessive push for users to adopt iCloud and other Apple services. Finally, the price of iPhones are over the top. Apple has always been that way though. You're paying for a name.

On the flip side, Android can have issues too. Phone reliable is heavily dependent on the company that makes the phone. Android is usually pretty streamlined and user-friendly, but on some phones the OS is heavily bloated (like Samsung or Huawei phones). Usually, a high-end Android phone will have stronger hardware than an iPhone because the OS simply isn't as optimized. The cool thing about Android is that you can make it any way you want. If I wanted my Pixel 2 to act and look exactly like an iPhone, I could do that on a software level. If I don't like the OS, I can root it and flash a custom ROM, which a lot of people do once their phone starts getting old.

Overall, if you enjoy a semi-minimalist experience or buy into corporate marketing, get an iPhone. Otherwise, there are tons of Android phones that might suit your fancy.

Yeah Samsung ones suck at Android, they basically just bloat the phone and the battery sucks.

Idk about brand that way per se really, but since it's a brand discussion, yeah iPhone/iOS is my go-to. Like yeah I've an iPhone but I don't go brag about it lol

iPhone.

They look better, act better, they're not without faults and I know that, but they're a hella lot more posh. Plus the camera and screenshots are way better.

team apple all the way
i dont like android and i hate that theres so many phones with android and that most of them are poorly optimised for it...
i have a full set of apple products and i prefer apples systems over android/wondows boft for their simplicity and aesthetiics... and its just really convenient? the connection/apple environment factor really speaks to me! this summer my 4 year old phone's backlight died so my screen was completely black and i couldnt see anything! but i had my ipad with me and i used it to make calls and text people because it was connected to my iphone, that feature really saved my ass because it all happened on the first day of my vacation so i was all alone in a foreign city, with all my accomodation access codes and contact info on email/text messages omg ;;

You mean the Samsung Galaxy S3? The latest version is the S9 and I have the S7. Could it be because it’s an older model? Just curious.

hmm i had samsung galaxy s3 when it was still brand new and a flagship and omg it was so bad.... it started lagging and overheating after a year, it stopped reading sd cards and the screen shattered after i dropped it once (with a case on)
maybe that was just an exceptionally bad phone

this omg my s3 would go from being fully charged to 20% overnight with no wifi, data or bluetooth on..... not even a year after i got it it started acting up a lot like that
meanwhile my 4 years old iphone 6 holds battery nearly all day and only drains fast if i use a lot of apps on full brightness, and back when it was new i could go for 2 days without worrying about the battery ;-;
i could try an android in the future but all the good ones arent easily available here - oneplus and pixel are impossible to get here and i dont want to order a phone because im anxious about it breaking in transit

i've had iphones my whole life up until last month when i got an android and i have to say i prefer iphones tbh. i miss mine and will probably buy a new iphone in the next year. though i must say my current android was better than my iphone because my iphone was outdated and not doing so hot in many ways. there are some nice things about androids but i like the simplicity and ease of iphones better. i feel like on iphones rather than things going wrong they just froze but with this android like if a glitch happens it just happens.

a point for android tho the battery life is absolutely amazing. i use my phone a ton and it can easily go two days without charging, so because i charge it every night, there's never a risk.
also- the display is much higher quality than the iphone.
however, the camera is absolutely terrible whereas my iphone camera was great.

can i just say the s3 is like ancient tho lol o well

Personally I've never had a problem with the iphones I've had so I'm okay with using them for now. I wouldn't pay full price for one though.

My bf has gone through several androids because they continuously messed up so idk if I want one, maybe he was just unlucky.

Apple is just WAY to expensive these days. Android is fine and I'll will stick with android.

i own a iphone 6s, it's nice but apple is v overpriced for their darn phones
not gonna lie though, i love my iphone a lot and will probably get another one

i always wanted a samsung when i was younger, but i'd rather have my iphone since i got used to it

^Yeah I have an iPhone SE which is basically a smaller size 6s and cheaper and yeah while it was expensive I love the simplicity and it lasts enough unless I sit on those damn apps everyday lol.

i've had an android (samsung s7 edge) for the past two years because apple was too expensive but since they're basically the same price these days i decided i was gonna get an apple phone when my contract was over but.. i have fallen for samsung to be honest.. i'm not actually sure i can make the switch

I have moved on with Iphone, I am officially team android, theres just so much more things you can do with android, such as customization and APKs heh, androids just have more to offer now, also Iphone with their no headphone jack, pfft, you're paying more for LESS.
This is coming from a previous Iphone user of over 6 years ~ RIP #TeamAndroid
