Prior to this patch, when the player hit 300/300 balloon's popped on the "It's Raining Treasure" Nook Miles task, they would stop spawning. This prevented everyone from getting the items unique to balloon presents, as well as the Bunny Day balloons. This update (1.1.3) has since fixed this issue, and they will now spawn after popping 300 balloons.

Wow this is a relief! I was anxious over reaching the limit last night since I keep popping the balloons for the Sakura DIY recipes.

at least we don’t have to worry about not getting anymore balloons after we hit 300

Pretty sure many of us were, lol. Just walking up and down your beach makes the Bunny Day balloons spawn like crazy.
