Animal Crossing New Horizons Switch!

I?m curious to see how many of you have preordered the new switch!
I just managed to snag a preorder slot at my local Walmart so I am very excited!!
It seems like some people have actually already gotten their ACSwitch through Walmart.

Do you plan on getting it if you don?t have a preorder slot already?

I was able to get one at a local game shop that only allowed 3 preorders total! And I snagged the last one! I’m glad people are still able to find preorders. Though I’m pretty sure Nintendo has said this console isn’t limited (so we should see restocks) it would suck to not be able to play the game when it comes out because you are waiting on the AC Switch.

Yeah! My local Walmart had 4 preorders available when I checked the night before. Managed to snag the third preorder slot. I checked it not even an hour later and the preorder slots were all gone!! I’m very excited to get my hands on that switch. I’ll just have to budget a little bit more this month lol

That’s great! What kind of joy-cons do you have? I also have a switch. However, I bought it on the day it was released so the battery REALLY sucks on it because the original switches have a crap battery. I’ll most likely sell my OG one to a friend who wants a switch but can’t afford to buy a new one at 300 for like 100 bucks or something.

I also have a launch Switch right now that I share with a family member, so I'm excited to get a newer one due to the longer battery life, plus I recently found out it has bluetooth compatibility, which lets me use my wireless headphones with it. Are you going in the day of release to pick it up?

I also preordered mine through Best Buy the moment it was released! However, I cancelled it because I’m cheap lol. Immediately regretted it and so happy I was fortunate enough to preorder it again before the release because I was planning on going to the store and camping out there for the change of getting a NH switch lol

Those who preordered it at Walmart are available to get it via store pick up. Store pick up receipts were sent out yesterday for many. Walmart employees who did not know about the release date just handed them out like a regular item.
