Okay, so magic clearly exists in this universe.The special characters can use magic/teleport/there’s a chihuahua goddess, etc.
In New Horizons, they show the evolutionary line of the animal villagers. But we also know that’s there’s a “regular” version of the animal villagers (octopus, frogs, implied with dishes that involve chicken, etc). So, I guess a frog villager and a regular frog would share an ancestor, or is it in a world where maybe magic would cause this kind of split to happen in evolution?
I don’t know, I don’t think Nintendo really thought that hard about it at the beginning but I was just thinking about it because of the museum.
