I played ac war or at least my version of it was awesome. Very fun way to keep animal crossing fun and fresh.

Yes most wars last 30 to 45 minutes easy. Although his rules were slightly different than nooky's here. The guy town had a rock maze at the beginning. He placed animal houses blocking the way so there was only one way in which could be lined with pitfall seeds blocking the way in from the top. He had very dark green hills on each side for both team bases. Tons of trees on each side but when you got through some of them there was another rock maze in the middle of town. There were five patches of 20 flowers each buried in a constant forest of trees. The birthday cakes would reset your saber hits to zero when eaten. You would have to call out cake when you ate one. Each team had 50 pitfall seeds they could lay. You could push animals around to use as human shields through the maze if needed.
The trees were just an obstacle and did not have to all be cut down. There were two teams blue who got blue sabers and blue zap outfits and had to protect their blue roses and had a silver shovel.
Red team got red sabers, red zap outfits, gold shovel and red roses to defend. each team had 50 unplanted pitfall seeds they could lay as traps.
