Animalese not working anymore

Hello,
So I have been playing Animal Crossing New Horizons today and I've had an absolute blast so far. But there is one thing that has been bothering me lately: Somehow my Villigares arent using Animalese anymore (the sounds that they make when they speak) and I somehow can't find the option to toggle it on or off. Does somebody know where I can turn it on again?
