Happy St. Patrick's Day (or as it's known in ACNL: Shamrock Day)! As you may have seen yesterday, and can definitely see in the picture below, I was appropriately dressed for it even before the day began.
To start off today, allow me to give you your first taste of Animalia: my home exterior. I love the rustic "log cabin" look of it, and the mailbox is the icing on the proverbial cake since it looks just like my house! Tomorrow, I'll be giving a tour of the inside.

On my walk around town today to water my flowers (I surprisingly found plenty of wilting ones, despite the fact that I thought I'd watered every flower yesterday...go figure), I made sure to stop at the town plaza, where I found Isabelle all decked out in green. She gave me a shamrock hat to celebrate the holiday.

Lots of my villagers around town were talking about Shamrock Day--Eugene and Rosie complimented me on my hat. Punchy thought he should celebrate the holiday by only eating green foods. I sincerely hope he meant like broccoli and stuff...it'd be pretty disgusting to eat, say, green meat. Speaking of Punchy, I sadly wasn't able to visit any towns to get signatures for him, but he didn't seem all that upset about it. He suggested making a paper airplane out of the petition paper, which now I really wish you could do! Later, I found Rosie and Punchy talking about seasons: specifically, debating whether winter or summer is better. I gave my (honest) opinion that summer is superior, and they both seemed to agree. Punchy, as usual, couldn't stop talking about the connections between food and...well, everything. I've become convinced that he has the munchies all the time due to drugs. I mean, look at his eyes and tell me that's not the look of a stoner! To boot, he was talking about "eating green food"...hmm.
My turnip prices today have unfortunately gone down: 78 bells in the morning, and 74 in the afternoon. I'm hoping it's a random pattern this week, because if not, I'll be out quite a few Bells... Walker wanted some new furniture for his house, so I went up to T&T Emporium, where I found a nice alpine lamp for him, along with medicine for Lolly, who was still sick today. To thank me, he gave me a clackercart...what am I, a baby?! Rosie appeared to be wanting back on my good side after she had been so dang ungrateful lately. She asked to visit my house, which I was happy to let her do. She had several nice things to say about my place, like how I could definitely host a party in my home.

After that, Eugene had a package he wanted delivered to Rosie, so I agreed to help him out. It turned out to be a men's toilet. Wait, WHAT??? Rosie, do you have something you need to tell me? To thank me, she gave me an exotic rug...which I already have in my living room, as you can see above. Checking my inventory again after picking a few random stray flowers, I discovered the medicine I'd bought earlier, so I made sure to take that to Lolly. She should be all better tomorrow! And of course, I didn't forget about my new BFF Apollo. I visited his place, but he unfortunately didn't have too much to say today other than talking about Shamrock Day.
That's about all for today, but I'll be back with more soon. Visit my dream town if you get the chance, and have a great St. Patrick's Day. I hope to see everyone again next time!
