Hey! Sorry about not posting yesterday, I got wrapped up in other things and ended up not posting. As such, I'll be pulling double duty today, so here goes.
When I exited my house, I checked my mail, finding a present from Lolly there. I have no clue why the villagers send you presents for getting them gifts for their birthday; it seems to defeat the purpose. Still, the lovely tea tansu Lolly sent me was quite nice. I saw Walker walking round my pansy garden, and he asked me to get him a piece of fruit, so I headed off to find him something. I brought him back an orange; he seemed to like it, and gave me a lite polka shirt as thanks. Back to my patrol of fossil-hunting and flower-watering, I saw Savannah and Al talking on my east bridge. Savannah was saying how much she enjoys her strawberry-scented bubble bath. Al responded with how he once filled his bathtub with soda and pretended he was a whale. Interesting life you lead, Al... Mira wanted to visit my place, and I was too happy to indulge her. We headed back home, and I gave her the grand tour. She commented on all my cabana furniture upstairs, and my double-neck guitar downstairs. After she left, it was back to my patrol, where I saw that Astrid had a gift for Walker she wanted me to deliver. I agreed, but this time, I elected to finish my patrol rather than walk all the way back to Walker's house. While patrolling, I saw Savannah again, asleep on on of my special stumps. She looked so peaceful, so I was tempted not to wake her up, but eventually I did. She was embarrassed to be caught napping, but eventually was happy to see me, and also wished she'd brought one of her books with her.

After finishing my patrol, I headed down to Walker's to deliver his gift. On the way, Punchy pinged me, and asked me at what age I thought you start being a grownup. I picked 40, since it's the age that's furthest from my current age. It's like they say: growing older is mandatory, but growing up is optional. Walker was now in his house, so I dropped off his new tee, and he put it on right away. I told him it looked very nice on him (it did!) and he gave me his old diamond tee he was wearing as thanks. He said it smelled like french toast. Oh, Walker...Later on, Apollo pinged me, and gave me a desk light. I'm assuming it's the desk light he wanted replaced a while back, so I guess I don't have to worry about him putting it in his house again. Eugene wanted to play hide-and-seek, and I had 10 minutes to find him, Apollo and Mira. I found Apollo near my flower clock behind a tree about 3 minutes in, then found Mira behind the lighthouse a while later. While looking for Eugene, I saw Lolly seated on my tire toy (soooo cute!), and she asked me to sit down with her. Even though I was in the middle of hide-and-seek, I couldn't resist sitting down for a nice little photo op.

Finally, I found Eugene hidden amongst the forest next to Rosie's place, winning me the game. Eugene gave me a time clock for winning ("Time clock"? Don't all clocks tell time?) and said he was "better at being the hider than I am the seeker". But you lost! Wouldn't that mean you aren't a good hider, and in turn would be a terrible seeker? Ugh, animal logic is so confusing. Heading down to Re-Tail to sell what was now in my recently filled pockets, I stopped to chat with Savannah, and she wanted me to take a quiz. She asked me my favorite flower, and out of the four choices, I picked daisy. She told me daisies signify hope and innocence, and said I must be optimistic. Not really, to be honest...I tend to be realistic and borderline pessimistic at times. Guess your magazine quiz is flawed, Savannah. Lolly asked me to guess what she was thinking of, and of the two choices (aliens and baby chicks), I picked baby chicks since it's now pretty close to Easter. She mused about how chicks start off yellow, but change color as they get older, and wondered if her coat would change as she got older too. Just how old are you, Lolly? I'm confused now...
Later in the afternoon, I agreed to meet up with one of my friends, Jess (AKA Trickilicky on TBT) for some island tours, changing into a new outfit just for the fun of it.

We had some fun harassing Al, and she chatted with Apollo, saying she liked him and wanted to steal him. Dream on, sister! Heading down to the island, we partook in several of the day's tours (not all, but pretty close, LOL). We essentially tied in a Scavenger Hunt tour, each reaching Tortimer with our items within a couple of seconds of one another! After that, we went on a Balloon-Hunt tour (which I won), and could NOT stop falling into pitfalls. Our synchronization continued, as we both fell into pitfalls at literally the same time! XD

We continued by going on an Ore Hunt tour (which I narrowly lost), Shark Battle tour (which I got creamed at, unfortunately), and a Diving tour (which I ruled at...just saying). We finished up by doing one last Scavenger Hunt tour, and pretty much tied in that one as well. Tricki was on the ball today, it seemed. After we made our way back to my town, we discussed Pokemon Shuffle, and I will tell you guys what I told her: I plan to write about my thoughts on the game here in this blog. Sadly, real life caused me to end the fun, and I sent her off before turning off the game for the day. Tricki, if you're reading this: thanks for the fun time, and I hope we can do it again soon!
That does it for...yesterday! Now to go write up what I did today, LOL.
