And here we go again!
I started my day pretty early this morning, with a nice little rain shower, which meant only one thing: I didn't have to water flowers today. I still headed out to see if I could find any fossils, and found Lolly by my lighthouse. She wanted a piece of fruit, so I headed to a nearby cherry tree and got her one. She gave me a raglan shirt as thanks. Joan was in town, but I didn't buy any turnips. I found the money rock and fished a while before my other villagers woke up. Eugene pinged me, saying that spring was all about making changes, and that he wanted to move on the 3rd of next month. Is he that shy about talking to Astrid? No, you aren't going anywhere, mister--I'm getting you two together if it's the last thing I do! He was happy to stick around, and said he wants us to try to be better friends. I wonder if that's a sign that my friendship with him has went down? I hope not, because despite what I post here, I really do like Eugene, and want him to stick around for a long, long time...

Apollo was by the plaza, and he was talking about Lolly and Astrid's relationship, and how they sometimes get together to "share secret information". I wonder if Astrid has told Lolly anything about Eugene... Apollo went on to say how he thinks it's just gossip. I can definitely see that from Astrid, but not Lolly.
As I walked around town some more, imagine my surprise to see not just a rainbow, but a double rainbow forming in the sky! This was a real treat, and I was looking forward to seeing it fully materialize. Mira pinged me a little later, and asked me to take her A tee off her hands. I may send it as a gift to Apollo, as it would be quite fitting for him to wear it. When I finished, the double rainbow seemed to be at its full vibrancy, and I stood on my bridge and soaked in the sight for a little while.

Rosie was nearby, so I chatted with her. She was talking about wanting to learn to dance on ice without ice skates. Even if that was possible, Rosie, I think that you might be in the wrong season for that. Savannah was also nearby, and while she wasn't napping on a stump today, she did want me to drop by her house. Unfortunately, she wanted to set a time for it, so I made sure to pick a time that wasn't too tough to remember, and we agreed to meet at 4:00.
To kill time, I headed up to the museum. Trickilicky gave me 2 paintings I didn't have in my museum yesterday (isn't she freaking awesome? LOL), so I went up to donate them both. I headed into the art room to check them out, and found both Punchy and my old villager, Fang, checking out the art collection. Punchy was all confused, thinking I painted all the art myself. If that were true, I'd be drinking virgin margaritas in Hawaii right now, Punch. Fang seemed to be a bit more cultured, saying how he's enjoyed art since he was a little kid. He also commented on how there's never any staff in the museum. You know, he brings up a good point: with Blathers asleep half the time, any fool could just walk into the museum and make off with like several million dollars worth of priceless art. We really need better security in town. Maybe I should get around to building that police station soon...

And no, I didn't forget to drop in on Savannah later on. I found a broken post in her wardrobe that she let me have, so that was nice. And that was pretty much my day in Animalia today. Tomorrow I don't know what will happen...that's honestly part of the fun of this game for me, honestly. Bye for now!
