I started up the game this morning by checking my mail, and I had a whopping SEVEN letters--each one from a different sender! One was a lovely armoire I'd ordered for Rosie's house, one was from my mom, and the other five were from villagers. Only 2 contained presents, though...I have some very cheap villagers.
I set off to water my flowers, dig fossils, and talk to my villagers. Walker was the first villager I found, and he wanted to trade the sunflower I'd gotten as a present in one of my letters for his bear tee. I agreed, just for the heck of it. Savannah wanted to sell me a juicy-apple clock for a pretty cheap price, and I agreed, again, for the heck of it. Astrid pinged me, wanting to come visit my house. She said she'd be reading novels with Eugene for a while (looks like they may be back together!!!), and we set a time for 11:30. Up by the Roost, I saw Eugene, and he wanted me to visit him right away. Since I wasn't busy, I agreed, and we headed off. On the way, I noticed a tent at my campsite, but that had to wait, as we were only a few steps away from Eugene's. He said he was particular about what he put in his room, and it definitely showed. Unfortunately, no matter how many times I spoke to him, the dialogue to buy something never came up, so I headed out, telling him his house was fan-freaking-tastic. Stopping at the campsite, I found Kidd the smug goat camping. He's okay, but not someone I'd likely want to have in my town.

Heading down to my north beach, I found that my blue roses had bred! I added my new one to my rose rainbow--only one more left until it's complete!

Back by my plaza, Lolly pinged me, wanting to buy my samurai suit. But because I didn't want her messing up her house with it, I had to decline her. Sorry, Lolly! Nearby, I saw that Redd was in town with his tent, so I stopped in to see if he had anything I needed for my museum. Unfortunately, the two legit paintings he had today were already displayed in the museum, so I left empty-handed. After finishing up with my flowers, I headed up to Main Street for my daily check of the shops. In the Able Sisters, I found two items that convey evil: the King Tut mask, and the red pom-pom hat. For those not in the know: there's a very, very creepy dream town called Aika Village where the main character wears a red pom-pom hat just like this one. It's legitimately very spooky, and if you ever get the chance, I highly recommend you visit it. Just don't do it after dark...

It was now very close to 11:30, so I headed back to my house and waited for Astrid. Fortunately, she didn't take long to show up, and I gave her the grand tour of my house for what must be the millionth time. She commented on my large bookcase in my back room and my double-neck guitar in my basement. After checking my daily fortune on my lovely phone (my lucky item today was a long-sleeved shirt, which I fortunately was already wearing), she said she had to leave, and I headed back out too soon afterward.
After I left, Rosie pinged me by the south bridge (kind of far from her house...was she coming to spy on me?), and she said she had eaten too much coconut cake and needed to stop being so hyper. I suggested she run until she got tired, which somehow seemed to calm her down just thinking about it. Over by the lighthouse, Punchy wanted me to...what else?...VISIT HIM! Unfortunately, it was a set-time thing, so I made it for a time much later, about 2:30PM.

After this, I turned the game off, went to eat lunch and do some chores, and came back just before 2:30, where I found Punchy waiting for me in his house. He said he was proud of his house, but asked if I wanted to buy anything. I attempted to buy the bug off his table, but no dice. So I just left, and told him his house was great. Which it is.
Unfortunately, I had to head out pretty quickly after that, and forgot to take any pics of the potential two other spots for my police station...oops. Well, there's always tomorrow, and that's when I'll see you guys.
