This is going to be kind of a short entry today, since I have a fever today and don't feel too well...
After exiting my house today, I saw that it was very overcast. Unfortunately, it never rained, so I was stuck watering my flowers by hand. Walker pinged me after I checked my mail, and he gave me a deluxe range he was convinced I was looking for. I actually have one in my kitchen...maybe he wants me to cook something for him? He's brought it up lots of times when he's been over to my house. I decided to head off in a counterclockwise pattern around my town today, just to shake things up. I saw Apollo on the bridge behind my house, and he asked me to catch a butterfly for his niece. I agreed, just to see if he was lying and ended up putting it in his house later for himself. It didn't take me long to find a yellow butterfly for him, and as thanks for helping him out, he rewarded me with a blue down jacket. I had one in storage already, so I could sell this one. On the bulletin board, I saw that tomorrow was Nature Day (the ACNL equivalent of Earth Day, I think). I honestly don't remember what Isabelle gives you for Nature Day, so it'll be interesting to see.
Heading off to water more flowers, the town seemed eerily deserted. No one around the plaza or the Roost, and no one by the east bridge. Luckily, I finally saw signs of life: Rosie was in her house, so I stopped in to visit her. She gave me an upright piano just for the heck of things. Thanks, Rosie! Down at Re-Tail, I found a sunflower belonging to Walker for sale, and since I don't think it would look that good in his house, I bought it. Turnip prices today weren't much better than yesterday: 111 Bells in the morning, and 108 Bells in the afternoon. I'm hoping this week is a random pattern week, otherwise I'm not going to be making much money... Back outside, I remembered that I forgot to water the blue roses I keep on my north beach for breeding purposes, so I headed back there. On the way, I saw Eugene was home now, so I dropped in on him after watering my flowers. He told me he wanted me to dig up the time capsule I'd buried for him. I honestly didn't remember burying it, but I figured it would be around his house somewhere, since that's where I almost always put them. Sure enough, I found it behind his house, and headed back in to give it to him. Inside was a checkered tee, which he gave me for helping him out.

I then headed back to Re-Tail to sell my items since my pockets were now full, but on the way, I found Punchy. He had a flea on him, so I caught it to get it off. Unfortunately, it escaped from my clutches since my pockets were full! Those slippery fleas... By the water pump, I saw Savannah, who asked if I wanted to buy her sno-cone tee to help her accrue enough money to buy a new book. Since it was for a good cause, I agreed, even though the price was a little high. Down by the lighthouse, I saw Saharah, and since I had mostly empty pockets, I agreed to pay 3,000 Bells for her services today. She gave me an ancient wall and a plaza tile...I know the ancient wall is exclusive, but not sure about the plaza tile.

Since I was heading there anyway, I went up to Main Street to T&T Emporium. The ancient wall is indeed Saharah-exclusive, but the plaza wall isn't, so I was free to sell it. I may or may not end up keeping the ancient wall...granted, it does look pretty cool!
I found Astrid in T&T, so I chatted with her. She said this store gives our town some class. I'm inclined to agree, but I think it does look out of place with the other stores. A five-star department store right beside a homey little shop like the Able Sisters' is a little weird-looking. Unfortunately, there was nothing new in any of the shops for my catalog, so I just bought some medicine for Lolly, who is still sick, and headed back down to town. Savannah pinged me by the instrument shelter, and wanted me to get her a piece of fruit. I found a peach laying by one of my trees (shhh! you didn't hear that!), and gave it to her. She was very happy to receive it, saying it was "totes tasty". She then decided then and there to never say "totes" again. Good idea, Savannah. As thanks for me helping her out, she gave me a green tie-dye tee.
Mira pinged me by the middle bridge in town, and wanted to trade my plaza tile for her drinking fountain. I agreed, just to shake things up, and was so happy she started whistling, as usual. Back by the town tree, I saw that Savannah and Punchy were also whistling now, and Punchy had changed into Savannah's shirt. It looks...strange on him.

Nearby, I spoke to Walker again, and he smelled the drinking fountain on me. I'm not sure how you can smell something like that, but then again, dogs' noses are pretty strong. He wanted to trade his blue-stripe shirt for it, and even though I knew that was a terrible trade, I agreed. I just hope he doesn't put the fountain up in his house...
To end the day, I made sure to bring Lolly her third and final dose of medicine. She was very thankful, and I'm looking forward to seeing her out tomorrow.
That's all for today! Now I'm going to go get some rest. Bye!
