Let the everyday blogging re-commence! Man, does it feel good to be back. 
As I emerged from my house today, it was pouring down rain, so I dug out my umbrella for the occasion. This is the first storm I can remember in a while, so I enjoyed it. Wouldn't dream of doing this in a real-life thunderstorm, though.

And of course, my villagers were throwing caution to the wind as well, out and about with it raining cats and dogs. Speaking of dogs, Walker had a time capsule he wanted me to bury, and I was happy to do it for him. As usual, I buried it near his house so I'd know whose it was once I dug it up.
Lolly wanted some new furniture, so I made sure to keep my eyes peeled for something she might like. Mira wanted me to come to her house later, and since the time she wanted to meet wasn't too far off, we agreed to meet at 3:00. Punchy had a petition called "We Need Food Testers" he wanted signatures for, and even though I had no plans to visit anyone (as usual), I agreed to take it off his hands.
Checking Re-Tail, I saw a bread box that Lolly had put up for sale. Thinking it would look nice on her table, I bought it, and made sure to bring it right back to her. To my delight, she put it on her table, in place of her yellow butterfly! HAAAAALLELUJAH!!!

You can barely see it in this picture, but it's on her table, and it looks very nice!
To kill time before my appointment with Mira, I headed to the beach to see if I could catch a coelacanth in all this rain. No such luck, but I did catch a couple of oarfish that I sold for a good chunk of change. I spoke to Rosie, who told me that Eugene and Astrid seemed as close as "noodle soup and banana bread". That combination sounds disgusting, but I hope it means their relationship is coming along! Those two really do look so cute together... Once 3PM rolled around, I went to visit Mira, who was waiting for me. We talked a lot about...random stuff, but the option to buy something in her house never came up. So I just gazed at her spherical radar for a while before setting off on my way.
Later on, Apollo gave me a frog tee he swore I'd said I wanted. (I hadn't.) Eugene wanted me to catch him an eel, and I tried to find one, but there were no long shadows in the river, so Eugene had to unfortunately do without his eel sushi. Now that I think of it, maybe it's a good thing I didn't catch him that eel... After this, Walker sold me his alpine shelf for a pretty cheap price. I think that's what he replaced with his new doghouse, so I was happy to take his unwanted furniture off his hands for him. Still, it would look nice in his house...maybe once the doghouse has worn out its welcome, I'll send it back? I still haven't decided.
As promised, here's a shot of my new "home theater" area in my basement. Do you guys like it, or should I rebuild my bowling alley?

Oh, and I was able to visit one of my friends later to get Punchy's signatures. After I brought it back to him, he rewarded me with a minimalist clock, which was a new item off my catalog.
And that's it for today! Not a very eventful day, but I'm just glad to be back blogging about them again! See you all next time...
