The fever that had me pretty much confined to my bed the other day has quieted down quite a bit, and I can finally catch up on what's happened in my town.
Yesterday, of course, was Nature Day, and Isabelle was waiting in the plaza with a cool globe. I have one in my house already (in my living room), so I just went ahead and sold this one. I hung around to take a few pics at the face-cutout standee for the holiday before heading off.

Not much happened later that day, since I didn't play that much, but a few things of note: Mira had something she wanted me to deliver to Savannah, and I was happy to do that, finding Savannah pretty quickly. She was happy to receive her red flannel shirt back, and gave me a water cooler as thanks. Turnip prices yesterday were abysmal (58 bells), so I plan to ask around for some higher prices on the forum today. And Lolly thanked me for taking care of her while she was sick by giving me a green counter. She said she'd take care of me the next time I was sick, too...ironic, considering I am sick right now.

Today, I started a little before noon, but not early enough to check turnip prices in time, unfortunately. But on the plus side, it was raining, which meant I didn't have to water my flowers today. And since Weeding Day is tomorrow, that means I only have, at most, one day of watering until I can reinstate my Beautiful Town ordinance and only have to water my breeding flowers... But that's not until later.
Walker was out and about, and he asked me to catch him an olive flounder. I agreed, hoping he wouldn't put it in his house. It didn't take long for me to find a flounder after heading down to the beach, and I brought it back to him. He seemed very appreciative, and thanked me with an icy shirt. Astrid pinged me by the lighthouse, and wanted to trade the sapphire I had found from yesterday's ore rock for her tropical tee. I unfortunately had to decline, and she thankfully understood. I quickly went to Re-Tail to sell my ore from yesterday, and found that turnip prices had climbed to 87 Bells, so I guess this week is a random pattern week. Punchy was outside, and on speaking to him, he said he wished the sky would rain fruit punch instead of water. That would be kinda cool, but I think the flowers wouldn't be too happy about it. Rosie was home, so I dropped in to visit her, and she gave me an extra writing desk she had found. When I talked to her again, she wanted me to find her a piece of fruit. But not just any fruit...perfect fruit. I headed to my storage to find her a perfect cherry, which she really enjoyed. As thanks, she gave me a teacher's desk. Two desks in one day!

Back outside, I headed up to Main street to deposit a little money into the bank (my account topped 37.6 million), and stopped in the shops to check things out. When I found nothing there, I headed back below the tracks, where I saw Katie near the train station. Sorry, kid, you're not going anywhere today... Over by the town tree, Lolly pinged me, telling me she planned to move on the 28th. Why? Didn't I take good enough care of you while you were sick?! Luckily, I was able to convince her to stay, and she was too happy to stick around.
