Back again, with another taste of how life has gone in Animalia over the past days. Let's get started!
Day 653
Not much happened on the 10th. Gulliver sent me a skeleton figurine from Mexico in the mail, and I also got a letter from Apollo saying he's glad we're friends. There was a Fishing Tourney on this day, but I didn't really feel like participating, so I let the rest of the villagers fish up a storm. I did make sure to attend the award ceremony, though, finding that Eugene took the top prize with a 23-inch rainbow trout. Punchy finished second, and Al got third.

Day 654
Walker had something he'd borrowed from Apollo, and I was happy to take it back for him. Apollo was happy to get his shirt back, and he rewarded me with his pic! Later on, Punchy wanted to sell his illusion wall, but it was just a tad too expensive. I talked him into coming down on the price, and managed to snag it for slightly cheaper.
Day 655
On the 12th, it was Explorer's Day, and Isabelle was at the plaza handing out sailboat models. She looked so cute in her little pirate's coat as well!

I stuck around to take a few photos at the cutout board, then headed off, only to find a lost book at the edge of the plaza! I asked around, finding that it was Rosie's. As a reward, she gave me her pic! Two pics in two days!!! X)
Day 656
On the 13th, I received an electric kettle in the mail from Lolly as a gift. Immediately after I opened it, Walker pinged me, asking to buy it from me! I just couldn't say no to him...besides, it just might fit with his alpine-themed house. Upon talking to him again, he wanted me to visit his house, saying getting there would be like a "tiny adventure". We were only a few steps from his house, so it was indeed very tiny. He offered to sell me something once inside, and I bought the winter sweater he had out on display. He was already wearing one, and I don't really think he needs two.
Day 657
Mira wanted to play hide-and-seek, and she rounded up Lolly and Punchy to play with us. I managed to find them all within about 6 or 7 minutes, and Mira rewarded me with a pop-up book. After this, Lolly pinged me, and said she wanted me to have her refrigerator. Given how I think this is one of the staples of her house, I made sure to check later to see if she still had said fridge in her room. She didn't, and I put it up for sale in Re-Tail for her to buy later. Speaking of Re-Tail, I bought the jasmine bonsai Astrid had put up for sale there (her Toy Day gift from last year!), and forgot to sell it back to Reese. Lo and behold, Astrid pinged me later in the day, wanting to buy the bonsai! Guess she really missed it in her house...
Day 658
I didn't get to play until late at night, and Walker wanted me to catch him a butterfly. Since it was already nighttime and I didn't feel like going to the island, I told him no. Punchy wanted to trade the pop-up book Mira had given me the day before for his steamroller, and seeing how said construction equipment was more expensive, I quickly said yes.
Day 659
Apollo wanted me to get him a perfect fruit, so I headed to one of the perfect cherry trees to get him one. He loved it so much, he rewarded me with...

Worst. Reward. For perfect fruit. Ever. :/
Day 660
For the first time in a while, Animalia had a camper: Portia! She was super cute, and had Al not been in town, I would have been tempted to ask her to move in.

And no, I didn't tell Walker she was in town. He's already been smitten with enough female dog campers lately. Yeah, I remember having Daisy and Goldie in my campsite...
Day 661
The 18th was Al's birthday, but I had no intention of stopping by to celebrate with him. He was probably alone anyway. I found a lost bag near Punchy's house, so I asked around. Unfortunately, it wasn't Punchy's...why can't this ever be easy? After searching a while, I found it was Rosie's! First the book, now the bag...she should probably try to hang onto her things better! Regardless, she rewarded me with a mini circuit. Later in the day, I dug up a time capsule near Mira's house, and this time, my logic was correct: the capsule was indeed Mira's. She was happy to get back the samurai shirt she'd buried, and gave it to me as thanks.
Day 662
Mira had a present for Eugene, and I was happy to take it to him for her. Unfortunately, I think he was less than impressed...

Honestly, if someone gave me a carved wooden pole as a gift, I'd probably have the same reaction. Besides, it wouldn't really look right in his house... Still, he appreciated the gesture, and gave me a red-check shirt as thanks. Rosie wanted some fruit, so I shook her down a mango, and was rewarded with some plank flooring.
Day 663
On the 20th, Walker gave me the modern desk he was convinced I was hunting for. Whatever you say, little guy. He also wanted some fruit to counteract all the potato salad he'd been eating lately, so I got him a nice cherry. He loved it, and rewarded me with a checkered tee. Punchy wanted me to catch him a river fish, and I found a crucian carp for him. He rewarded me with a Papa panda. Lolly told me she planned to move on the 22nd, apologizing for how sudden it was. Since it was only two days away, I'm glad I caught her in time!

If I have anything to say about it, she's never leaving. She's such a pivotal part of Animalia!
And that's it for now. I'm slowly but surely catching up with my days, and I want at least one of my missed days so far to have its very own blog entry, so I have some work cut out for me. That said, I may still be back as early as tonight with a few more days.
I'll be back later with more life in Animalia! See you then.
