I've Tried Time Traveling, Planting Trees, Planting Flowers, Paths (That made them worse)

I've pretty much run outta options

Yeah, I only walk, but other people run in my town. I heard people over wifi don't affect your grass, but I can't be sure. I also heard walking over it kills it too. -facepalm-

whats so bad about a few brown spots??? it doesnt really matter
A Few Brown Spots? or a Few MILLION!!! lolz
Hack and you will have your grass back
But I dont suggest you hack , just dont run and wait
Either way theres one problem with that plan...... I'm too Dumb to figure out how to hack lol.

you need to have patience. planting flowers in brown spots help the process in growing the grass back. just don't run a lot and be patient because it will take a while.

Only weeds, messed up hair, and a villager might move out depending on how far you go into the future.

We've been restoring our grass since January, planting flowers does help out along with keeping to designated paths to places like nooks, neighbors, certain orchards and STICKING TO THE PATHS makes a difference.

Also, if you don't want to have to water the flowers and walk on the barely growing spots, it's better to get gold roses since you don't have to water them.

Patience helps too!

Hope that helps :)
