A lot of what happened to me in the past, I kinda brought upon myself; I was constantly posting quite literally everywhere, thinking I was funny and the like, and I can understand why people found me annoying. I remember being bullied quite a bit, and I was very oblivious to some of the bullying too. Those people have apologized and it no longer bothers me, what really bothers me is looking back and seeing my reaction to all of it. Like I said, I brought it upon myself.
Not really, I've never been scammed or anything like that. I've been in some heated discussions here but nothing ever turned into personal insults or anything like that, a few minor disagreements I guess is all. I get the feeling often that a lot people don't like me, but nothing has ever been said so it's cool. I've had way, way more positive experiences than negative.
Not to do with personal negative experiences but this bugs me too, trans people/trans rights are often brought up as a discussion point and I don't like it, I don't see the need for it.

Yeah, while of course it needs to be addressed, people misuse it way too much and bring in up in discussions that hasn't really to do with it. Also it has a tendency to be brought up as clanking down on people who don't know every single thing about it like they are way uneducated if they don't know all the correct terms and surgeries etc. Yeah sorry I try to be understanding stop acting like a bully just cause.

With trades, always look at their feedback rating. If you see sketchy behavior like someone stealing flowers or being a pain to deal with, that should say everything. Most people on here have 100%, especially if it's a high number of trades. If you see someone with less than 100%, I'd look at their feedback before trading with them in case. Always remember to delete FCs afterward unless you want them of course.

Oh god, tell me about it. I swear I was the most thick-skinned immature person when I first came onto this site (mafia broke that thick skin lol) and I just posted the cheesiest things. I don't think I actually said anything mean, but tbh that thought still haunts me.

I've not had any negative experiences in terms of trades or wi-fi ratings; most of the people who ever stole from me was when I was on GameFAQs or trading with random people on Club Tortimer. In fact, most of the time, people on here are giving me stuff for free when I'm not even asking for it LOL I know I've dumped my extra stuff in other people's towns myself oops
In terms of people/community, yes and no. I've made tons of enemies with people on here because of how easily some people on here can get offended, and quickly point blame towards you. On the other hand, I've also made tons of friends, so my feelings are kinda mixed. But I just ignore most of the drama-starting users or rude ones and I don't take anything they do seriously anymore.
All in all this is still one of the best Animal Crossing communities and also one of the better gaming communities I've found, so I'm happy I joined.

not that I can remember, no. i always just try to be as nice as I can to everyone and stay out of the drama, and I've had all good experiences since I joined.
there was this one time though that I gave someone TBT bells randomly bc I saw they needed them to buy a villager and they didn't say a word to me afterwards, no thank you or even any acknowledgement at all, and then proceeded to take even more free bells from someone else. I thought that was pretty rude, but that's probably the only "bad" thing that's happened to me here.

I haven't had any bad traders on Bell Tree. However, I made the mistake of letting a few people from Google+ and one girl, for "some reason" left and it saved. She came back and I realized the majority of my hybrids were gone (rip). I told everyone i was flipping the switch, and I did. Stupid scammers .

I hosted a shop, and someone said that they wanted something. By my mistake, I didn't have it, and tried to apologize giving them free hybrids, but they didn't want it. They gave me a negative rating, but I asked for it to be changed into a neutral rating. I also forgot to get 2 of their hybrids, and I ended up giving them a refund. The rest of the items I gave them.
i've never been scammed or anything like that (kind of hard to scam someone who only gives stuff out for free, heh), but i have had encounters with people who i've considered rude and ungrateful, and i even had to remind someone to say thank you after i allowed them to adopt a villager from me for free. i've never given a negative rating to those people, but i did leave a neutral one, so that i know not to interact with them again.

yeah, i had a negative experience. it was waaay when i first joined, so i was kind of helpless then

Only when users have shown their immaturity but I have to remember I'm playing a game that has a lot of young kids so I have to be forgiving. I'm considering writing a manners guide to help. Way too many kids with no sense of manners or etiquette when interacting with others online.
