Anybody already planning their towns?

I have no clue as to whether we'll even be mayor of our new towns, but i already have a theme in mind, certain pwps if they bring them back, certain villagers and house ideas whoops (also still deciding on a name ): )

Depending on the customization, I think I may do a couple themed towns!
I've always wanted to do a Halloween town along with a regular everyday play file.

Since I don't know exactly what we can and can't do, the only thing I'm thinking up is the name.

I've been thinking of lots of different town names already. Got a list started and so far have six names to use. I kinda wanted to play my new town sorta casually and not worry about villagers or anything else that bothers me. I just want to relax and have fun.

at this point we know absolutely nothing of the structure or anything of the towns. so until we at least get a glimpse, I see no point


I mean except the town name and characters. 2 town names pending on if they increase the character limit enough or not, and all non-animal residents planned out too

but as far as decoration or anything goes? nope

I will wait till we get to see how the town layouts looks like be before I gonna plan something. It's not
quite easy (at least for me) to plan a town when I don't even know how it's builded up. I will also think
about the name again, at first I wanted to take the same name as I have for my New Leaf town, but
maybe I will take another name. As for the town theme, it depends how much "freedom" you will have
this time when it comes to customize the town. So yeah, like I said, I will wait for more informations
about the game and will make then my plans.

It's kind of silly to plan a town when you have no idea what the features are and what the the game is going to look like or if we're going to have a town at all (i know, an extreme.)

No. I have a name for it and that is as far as it's going to go. Might as well play something like Sim City if you're going to plan each and every little pixel in your town.

Coming off Animal Crossing, if you had planned your Wild World town ahead, come the game release's you would see how pointless it was to plan your town ahead.

Coming off City Folks and thinking about planning your New Leaf town ahead of release would also have been pointless.

I think we are in the same ball park with this one.

Zen-themed, might do modern theme if we get a big enough town to PWP around in.

Villager Roster will at least have Lolly, Scoot, Marshal, Punchy, Felicity/Rosie, Yuka, Cherry, and Rocco.

House will be a Zen Castle, most likely.

That's not quite what I'll do, but I will plan permanent structures really carefully and slowly. For reference, in my latest town, It took 5 months to decide the spot for the roost - and I don't regret its placement.

Since we don't know what the new game will have, no, not yet. I might do what I did with my current town and draw it all out in Excel, tile-by-tile, though, but that's not until the game comes out.
I still need to come up with a name, though...

Not really planning anything, but my town will be one of two possibilities:

Daguerreo (IF they increase the character limit) and will be mostly hamster villagers, or:

I'll recreate Bunifrey. I'd prefer not to do this, though.

I feel like I have a general idea of what I'd want my town to be centered around (well a couple ideas that I've always wanted to try out)...

Making a story out of a town
A pastel/cutesy town
An underwater town
or something modern/futuristic

yes i have, i know it’s going to be a cat themed town (all my villagers being cats obviously), kinda cat themed paths, i don’t wanna make it too much though. that’s all i really know i wanna do, i wanted to do it in new leaf but I got too attached to my villagers that aren’t cats haha, so from the start all my villagers will be cats lol

Probably something centered around stars or probably a normal regular town with paths and stuff.
