Anybody else not flattening or restarting their island?

Me, pretty happy with my island over all, changing a few places with the new stuff though.

my island is still relatively new so i'm not restarting, i already have so many items cataloged and i have some of my dreamies on my island. i like my island the way it is, i might do minor terraforming but not right now.

I didn't. But I did some major layout adjustments.

The middle part of my island has been a WIP since last year because I've been anticipating this kind of update. With the 2 new additional inclines, I was able to finally build the layout I wanted. All that's missing are the stairs.

Also, I don't want to lose all the progress I've made (terraforming, completed museum, Nook Mile progress, catalog, villager photos, DIY recipes, etc) and all the time I've invested in this game to go to waste.

Besides, I've already learned to love my island despite its annoyances, such as the plaza being way too close to the airport and off-center by one tile, having both south river mouths, and that thin peninsula.

I'm not restarting, not just going to let 2 years go down the drain.

Hwoever we are preparing for an island remodeling. Not flattening, but we are going to modernize it.
