Still have their Gameboy player? That thing was awesome, and is one of the only reasons to keep your Cube plugged in if you have a Wii.

The precursor to the Game Boy Player was called the Super Game Boy, and it came out for the SNES. I never had one though, nor a GBP. If I recall correctly, one of its advantages was that it allowed you to put color to the otherwise monochromatic GB games.

Yep and a few choices of lovely decorative borders (Vanna White pose)
 
I've still been looking for a Super Gameboy. They are a little more expensive than I thought they would be. Not a big deal though since I have a GBA now and no GB/GBC games.

I loved it for the animated backgrounds. They only worked if you left the game sitting there for a while or when you used a code to activate them. There are only 4 colors you can set for your Gameboy games, but it
