I drove by a GameStop on my way to lunch, and there were a good number of people lined up, but it seemed manageable if you had the time to wait. Seems like the stock itself isn’t so bad, it’s more the websites being able to keep up with traffic, lol.

I was able to pre-order the Switch 2 this morning with the Mario Kart bundle. I gave my dad money to do it for me since I had to work. He said there were about 40 people outside before the store opened, so I’m glad he was able to get there early. He was the second person in line after getting there at about 5AM. The line kept growing and growing up until noon when the store opened.

He’s actually the one that insisted on going early. I didn’t foresee a huge crowd of people wanting to pre-order, but I’ll admit I was wrong. I’m glad I have it, though, and I am excited to pick it up at the midnight release!

I've been up at 6am for amiibo, we have scalper issues. I got to meet a weird one that smelled bed and got very close to me. Anticipate scalpers.
