amiibo Festival Anyone else just interested in the Amiibo figures alone?

I don't have a Wii U, but if I did, I'm iffy about this game. In any case, I am interested in the Amiibos. I don't have any non-AC Amiibos either, but from what I've heard and seen, the whole line of figures are of really high-quality. I would probably get Tom Nook or Mabel first.
I like that I would be able to use them on HHD, which I do plan on getting, but I really just see Amiibos as figures first, game accessories/physical DLC (an aspect of them I don't like) second.

Nah, not really. I mean yeah, they're cool to have on a shelf or whatever, but in the end without games, they kinda suck. And even then they're only so much you can get in the games with them, at least Disney Infinity is better..

I don't have a WiiU, but I definitely want the amiibo. I have a lot of the current figures and next to the Zelda ones they're probably what I want most. The quality of the figures are great and it would be nice to have some AC merch.

That said, I do think we need more info on the game itself. The clip Nintendo showed a while back doesn't do much for people and saying that's not all helps no one without examples to back it up.

I dont like amibo figures, just the cards. So I won't be getting the amiibo.

I gotta admit I really want the amiibo figures for animal crossing XD. I mean I still will play the game and all, but I just want the amiibo figures is all x.x...

Yes, I would just like the amiibos. I don't really care all that much for the game.
