Anyone else miss the locker feature?

I find myself collecting sooo much materials, all of which I want to save but I hate dropping them around... so I’m grateful for the larger storage, even with the largest pocket space!

BUT I hate having to run all the way back to my house in the corner on the mountain, any time I need materials or items from my storage. I wish there was some sort of ‘locker’ furniture (even if just for crafting supplies) that we could use and put anywhere, in which we could access our storage.

I have a safe, that allows you to change your clothes, hehe. Petty funny thing so far. Maybe something for normal stuff is already in the game but not discovered or soon implemented.

Honestly, I'm happy for a reason to go back to my house more. In New Leaf I was almost never in my house because I had no reason to be in it. I could just go to the train station. However, I can see your reasoning!

I kinda miss it too, but as someone who spends most of their time outside it gives me an excuse to actually go into my house every once in a while.

I miss it a bit sometimes but it doesn’t affect me too much with the increased pocket space tbh

I miss it, I guess a bit more than others, because of the fact that I spend lots of time on other peoples islands. Its a bit of a pain to be hanging out with friends and having to keep going home and coming back because you keep running out of space. Especially give that the entry cut-scene is over a minute long xD

I would KILL for there to be a means to access your storage in someone else's town. Seriously, was that just an oversight? I can't see that being intentional for any reason really. Maybe to avoid excessive fund/resource sharing?

YES to accessing storage on other islands online

I think I’m mainly thinking crafting materials..
I’m just always stuffing my pockets with things to sell, and I like keeping my materials at home (cause they all take up almost a whole row of pocket space) so going alllll the way across the island to get materials when I want to craft something is annoying.

It’d be cool if some work-benches had a storage space for materials, or if there were a type of furniture to just store crafting materials (‘:
