Anyone get a dreamy yet?

I just went to a random island and invited Stitch to move in! I'm so glad I found a dreamy so early on in the game! Has anyone else gotten one or more of their dreamies yet?

i wasn't fond of any of the villagers i saw when i went to the random islands so i just had random villagers move in as my next three plots. but it turned out for the better because one of them is audie, who i was so excited to have!!

I didn't care for Cookie before or Cherry but my close friend really got me into them <3 Aaaa so now they're gonna stay+ they're so cute hhh :') I also got Zucker whom I love and Fauna <3

I got lucky and found one of my top favorites Bubbles on a mystery island. I wanted to scream.

I'm trying to not have set in stone dreamies this time, but I have about 3 absolute must haves and then a list of about 20-25 that I'd be super happy to have.

Reneigh is a non-negotiable dreamie, so I reset until I started with her. The next two must-haves are Audie and Wolfgang. I ran into Marina on my first tour and she was super high on my wishlist, so of course I invited her. I was so excited!

Unfortunately I didn't know that I couldn't invite more from the tours after I built the plots, so I will have 2 randoms moving in. Fingers crossed that my peppy will be Audie.

Nope, I haven't liked any of the villagers I've gotten or seen at the islands so far I might have to cheese it with amiibos..

I did!!!! I got Bob on mystery island visit #2!!! I was so excited to see him <3 I also got Reneigh as a starter and Bunnie as another mystery island and they're super cute but they're not QUITE my dreamies but idk I might keep them too!!

I did! I got Molly, Sprinkle and Zucker from my mystery tours. I got really lucky, I guess.

I went to the Mystery Tour island for the first time today and got Zucker! He's adorable! <3

Have yet to come across any villagers from mystery islands that I really want on my island! I will probably try to head out a few more times tomorrow and see what I come across. At least I like my starters! (*^▽^*)

Could you explain how the process with those three villagers works? I've been trying to get an answer about what determines whether you get random villagers assigned.
Your post makes me think you can wait until you've found three you like by holding off on placing the plots—is that true, or does the game force you to place the plots at some point? >.>'

Didn't get one but I did get Lucky whom is popular.
A friend found Zucker whom is my favorite. I'm not too upset though, I have the cards...just sounds like it'll be a bit more tedious using them than New Leaf.

From what I've been told, yes. After inviting Marina, if I had not placed my plots, I would have kept encountering random peppy and lazy villagers each time I did a tour. Once three are invited from the tours they stop appearing.

In my case, I didn't know that, so I built the plots and no longer have any encounters on my tours. I will get Marina, and then a random peppy and lazy for my plot move ins.

Tbh, I'm a little disappointed that I didn't know that beforehand, but I'm not going to let it bother me. If I don't like the randoms it's not permanent. I just miss searching for dreamies on tours.

my starting villagers are trash and i can't wait to get rid of them, but i got skye and some blue duck coming soon so that's like a tiny bit better i guess

I don't talk to Goose or Flo, and the three that are coming are undesirable, as well. I'm hoping they'll hit the road soon to make way from the ones I actually want.

I don't have a list of dreamies this time around, but Zucker was one of my favorite villagers in NL and I immediately invited him on my island when I met him during a tour!

Would love to get Lobo at some point, but have no intention of hunting for him.
