I've watched up to and including part 4. I've felt less need to watch part 5 right away since I've read it, but I'll get around to it eventually.
I've read up to and got about 20 chapters into part 8. Wasn't feeling part 8, might go back to it once it's finished.
I'm just looking forward to Stone Ocean adaptation. I would say Stone Ocean is my favourite part of JoJo, Stardust Crusaders and Battle Tendency being 2nd and 3rd. I won't bother going into detail since it's going to go into spoiler territory for anybody only watching the anime, but I loved it.
Otherwise:
Part: 6 > 3 > 2 > 4 > 1 > 5 > 7 > 8 (so far. I'm just not enjoying part 8 that much)
Hero: Old Joseph > Young Joseph > Polnareff > Jolyne > Foo Fighters > Narancia
Villain: Dio > Kira > Pucci > Kars > Diavolo > Funny > *still not aware who the villain of part 8 is*
Stand: Stone Free > Jail House Rock > Weather Report (specifically his ability 'Heavy Weather') > Osiris > Bohemian Rhapsody > Enigma > Hey Ya > Notorious B.I.G (Not necessarily because they're cool or powerful, more from what happens in the encounter. So many cool stands, these are just the ones that always spring to mind first)

The universe 'reset' after/at the end of part 6.
It's neat seeing re-imaginings of characters but it just doesn't feel the same as the first 6 parts. There's just something about part 7 and especially part 8 that doesn't do it for me, maybe because it stopped following the original bloodline/continuity.
I'm hoping that it does blend back into the original universe again at some point somehow. It was cool seeing reoccurring characters like Speedwagon, Joseph, Jotaro, Polnareff and Dio and how they changed in each part, especially that Funny showed the original universe does exist by part 7 Dio having "Za Warldo" from another universe. Part 7 and 8 feel more like they're a separate series from the same creator rather than a continuation after part 6, which I feel is my main reason for not 'feeling it' with those...Plus I just think part 8 is a bit uninteresting. Fite me.
